In the beginning of this story, Malachor, an evil being who can possess and corrupt innocent souls has taken over Equestria. Luckily, the CMC, Applejack, Starlight Glimmer, Celestia and Luna, even trixie, torch, tempest, and most of all Spike are ready to save the day. Then, they work together to try and defeat Malachor without Twilight's help, wherever she is.

But, Malachor still has one innocent soul that was infected and now possessed by Malachor's blood and corrupted by his dark magic. And he pits Spike to fight the one he corrupted.

Twilight messed up big time, and as a result she is paying the price when vengeful ponies trap her and Spike in a situation where they are doomed to perish if help does not arrive on time.

-Make sure you know what you're doing before you decide to help someone.
-Beware of your serious mistakes, for they can come back to get you.
-Honor and fighting for it is not always the smartest thing
-Some people cannot be persuaded to change their minds
