While on their way to Manehattan for a new fashion show, Vinyl, Octavia, and Rarity realize just how mischievous magic can be. Now that they're all stuck in Vinyl's body, and in the little town of Trottingham no less, things can't possibly be worse. That is, until they are bitten by a peculiar, pony-like wolf. Now Rarity and Octavia must survive being Vinyl while also terrorizing anypony in the area. Well, there goes the idea of help... unless, of course, the Great and Powerful Trixie is feeling generous.

Through the simple act of bumping into somepony new, Spike will be shown just how far his music can take him. Healing old wounds, finding new friends, and possibly even rekindling an old fire.

Hearts and Hooves day is coming up, and Spike has got plans, BIG plans.

As this year's Grand Galloping Gala draws closer, Octavia has been rehearsing with her quartet more on a regular basis. But, she's also planning on doing a little solo piece she composed on her own just for the occasion. To that end Spike has graciously volunteered to spend the day helping her practice.

Yes, just him and her, all alone in her apartment for the entire day with nothing to do but- waitjustaminute!

Why it's none other than the designer Orange Sherbet commissioned to design all of their outfits for the gala! And she's so nice, and beautiful, and generous, and beautiful! There has to be something he can do for such a pretty lady! Oh? She needs some assistance finishing her designs by Hearts and Hooves day? Consider it done!

Story set in the Manehattanverse

Time Turner rarely found himself short of work in Canterlot. Between paranoid nobles and eccentric unicorns, the city was a perfect place for a detective to set up an office.

During the party week leading up to the 998th Summer Sun Celebration, Time Turner is hired by the young fashionista Rarity to locate her missing kitten Opalescence, lost somewhere in Canterlot.
Following Opal’s trail, Turner will have to deal with a pair of filly fooling musicians, the marefia crime family and interrupt a performance of the Canterlot Symphony Orchestra to find the aggressive hairball.

As fate would have it, Twilight had to hatch a much bigger egg this time.

This story is a sequel to An Apple Scratch toward the World.

Equestria isn't what it should be.

Celestia is a figure of distant mythology. Progress has replaced harmony as society's watchword. Progress born of spell, steam and gears. A dark corruption eats away at Canterlot and stretches out its influence.

In the shadow of the dying capital are scattered points of light. The selfless pink toymaker, caring for nothing but a smile. A unicorn noblemare feeding the ghettos. An airship captain who gave up wealth and status to stamp out injustice. They, amongst others, are thrown together by danger and flight, and find themselves gambling on a desperate bid to restore Equestria.

During one of Rarity's many visits to Canterlot she begins to find herself questioning if the life she dreams of is the one she really wants. What caused this change of heart? What could come between Rarity and the life she has always wanted? Will she be willing to give it all up to help a single pony in her hour of need and in turn what will this pony do for her? Will she return the feelings that Rarity shows or simply walk away?

Author note: This story is set just after series 3 ends as such the events of season 4 do not have any bearing on it, think of it as an alternate reality.

Rarity is not exactly known for being particularly athletic, but it really depends on the kind of sport and exercise. Fencing is kind of like sewing, right? She definitely enjoys it, and is just as skilled with a sword as she is with a needle, but she finds a new, challenging opponent to spar with.
