Mayor Mare sits alone in the Town Hall. The years have taken their toll on this once proud pony, as she withers away behind a desk. As life passes her by, she wonders if Ponyville truly needs her anymore. A certain princess comes to her and offers her wisdom to help guide Mayor Mare out of the darkness. She will either overcome these personal demons, or she will succumb to them.

1st Person/Pony P.O.V. story attempt.

Sometimes Pinkie sees the world in ways that others don't. To her, a bendy drinking-straw might serve as a debonair traveling companion, and a humble bag of flour might offer a comforting shoulder to cry on.

But what would happen if that straw, and that bag of flour, came to see each other as more than mere support for Pinkie? What if a flame of raw, unbridled passion began to burn between them?

Wonder no more, gentle reader! For within these pages lies a tale parody of tragic love in the tradition of such timeless classics as Romeo and Juliet and/or Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. But be warned, for within ye shall find such passion as to stir thy soul, regardless of whether thou art spending this Hearts and Hooves day nestled in thy lover's arms, or tucking into a resplendent tub of ice cream by thy lonesome...

Lyra was a city mare, seeking solace in a small town.

Bon Bon was stuck, just wanting to get away.

Fate brought them together. Fate made them best friends. Fate made them so much more than that.

And today, fate seals them together forever.

Twilight Sparkle moved to Ponyville last week to start her new job as town librarian. In between making friends and saving Equestria, she meets another pony whose orderliness, punctuality, and love of paperwork matches her own: Mayor Mare. But will their love be a match for the Equestrian Civil Service Code, volume 13, chapter 22, paragraph F?

A light-hearted fast-paced romance set after S1E2. Written for the 2024 May Pairings Contest, and tied for second place!

Main Plot: Applejack tells her family and friends that she is gay.
In her youth, Granny Smith was part of the movement giving marriage rights to interracial couples. Could you believe that, just forty years ago, many ponies considered it taboo for a relationship to exist between a unicorn and pegasus? Nowadays it's a different story: interspecies marriages happen all the time, and nopony bats an eyelash... as long as they are different genders. It seems that since then, the prejudice has shifted direction towards gay and lesbian couples now.
Lyra and Bon Bon are victims of this prejudice firsthoof, but regardless, they still got married a couple of weeks ago. Upon their return, Mayor Mare- an avid supporter of gay rights- finds herself swarmed with grievance letters from the handful of homophobic ponies living in Ponyville, which she addresses at a town meeting. The meeting... doesn't go so well. As differing viewpoints clash, many are caught in the crossfire, and buried secrets are revealed.
Friendships and loyalties will be tested, but others strengthened.

And with a little help from Discord, the terrible powers of Professor Panic, Ghastly, and Jester prepare to wreck havoc on the biggest event of the summer: The Summer Solstice Celebration.

After witnessing Luna's banishment and return, a mysterious pony takes it upon himself to show Luna that her work at night truly is appreciated.
Trying to overcome his millenniums-worth of social-ineptitude, the stallion fights to stop the Night Princess' re-emerging envy before it's too late. All while attempting to avoid Celestia, due to her hidden misconception that he is the reason her sister became Nightmare Moon.

The Prequestrian Dialect magic language used in the story was created by me.

(Note: Prologues 1-5 do not include the main MLP cast, they are intended to introduce the OC's so the reader will better understand them and their actions throughout the story.

Pendulum lived a comfortable routine for an up and coming efficiency company in Manehatten. That routine was shattered when he was sent to a new client that could put them on the map.

A little town called Ponyville.

Oh sure they had sent their request late giving Pendulum only a day to get there and organize a schedule. Sure the records they sent were disorganized at best. Sure they hadn't come close to succeeding for over 70 years. But really, how difficult could it be?
Pendulum would soon come to regret those words...
