The League of Indomitable Evil

Taking a cue from Spike's comic books, the Cutie Mark Crusaders decide that getting their Cutie Marks in being Super Villains might be worth a shot. And with a little help from Discord, the terrible powers of Professor Panic, Ghastly, and Jester prepare to wreck havoc on the biggest event of the summer: The Summer Solstice Celebration.

Will Ponyville survive the mayhem? (Yeah. Probably.)

So obviously Applebloom being a little Mini-Maniac Joker thing going on but what were the influences for Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo costumes/Villains. Also someone fan art this PLEASE! And Sequel obviously sequel.

The league of incompetent evil would have been a more suitable title, but hilarious story all round. And true to character too.

4705575 It's true that Jester (Applebloom) was a play on The Joker, only I envisioned her with more hammerspace abilities. So yeah. Basically The Joker meets Deadpool or something. Ghastly (Scootaloo) is supposed to be a bit like the Phantom of The Opera in terms of appearance, but I imagine that she imagined herself more like a Lovecraftian monster, as her whole shtick was that anypony who looked upon her would go mad. (So maybe like the episode of Metalocalypse where Murderface gets cheap plastic surgery in South America? I dunno.) And I always thought of Professor Panic (Sweetie Belle) as a combination of Doctor Doom, Doctor Harris from "Lost In Space," and maybe a little Professor Chaos thrown in there for good measure.

And as far as sequels go, I didn't have one planned, as I kind of had them quit at the end. But I agree that fan art would be FREAKING SWEET.

4706727 So that's what was Scootaloo was going for...for a strange reason I was thinking Scarecrow from Batman. As for Sweetie Belle I was picturing a Darth Vaderesk helmet (Don't ask, all evil helmets look like Vader's in my head.)
