After Scootaloo gets Sweetie Belle an incredibly generous gift, Sweetie Belle finds herself struggling to think of some way she can repay her. She finally decides on giving Scootaloo the one thing she's always wanted more than anything else, but can she manage to pull off such an ambitious endeavor, especially when she's holding herself to the standards of her big sister?

And what are Flim and Flam trying to push on her?

This is a story about the perils of being too hard on oneself, and realizing that sometimes, all it takes to repay a friend is to be yourself. It's meant to flow just like an episode of the show. Nothing outside of what you'd expect from a CMC-centered outing.

A short story I wrote for a friend. Hope you enjoy!

But it's also a really lovely story, and does indeed feel like an episode of the show. Beautiful character interaction, too.

You write flim and flamas well as I've ever seen.Good story.:pinkiehappy:

5519264 - Thank you so much! I always try to stay true to the spirit and tone of the show as much as possible. I'm glad you felt that I accomplished that. :yay: And yes. The word count. Um...yeah. Not gonna lie, that kind of snuck up on me. I was writing and writing and writing and all of a sudden I look at my Word doc and I'm on page 20. I was like...whoa. :twilightblush:

5535295 - Thanks! Flim and Flam are two of my absolute favorites. I can't get enough of them. Heck, there's a reason me and my friend cosplay as them at conventions! I even got Sam Vincent to autograph my homemade bottle of Miracle Curative Tonic at Ponyville Ciderfest in Milwaukee this past November. It was surreal meeting Flim while dressed as Flim. :rainbowderp: But yes, I could go on for pages and pages of just those two talking. Guess I kind of did that already, huh? :rainbowlaugh:
