This is what happens when a disembodied, omniscient voice forces itself into your grand adventure about aliens from another world.

Well, maybe not, but this is what happened to Twilight Sparkle.

This is a fan made reboot of the MLP fanfiction series Twilight Hears The Narrator by Stratocaster. It takes a more adventure-oriented approach, while retaining some of the slice of life comedy aspect.

A plot between two meddling immortals to find something to occupy their young charges time with sees Laharl, Overlord of the Netherworld stranded in Equestria. Twilight Sparkle is tasked with looking after the displaced demon while a way back home can be found for him.

Unbeknownst to either conspirator dark forces take note of the cheerful little planet inhabited by the peaceful equines, with their own designs for the colorful land.

(technically there are no actual humans since they're all demons or angels...but I threw the human tag on there to be safe)
I feel like a small disclaimer may be needed. I'm planning to take some pretty severe liberties with Equestria and many of the characters from the show, so now and again they may act a bit out of canon character. Just a heads up!

After the Battle of the Bands, Sunset Shimmer goes with Twilight back to Equestria to make an apology to Princess Celestia after all these years. Not knowing that Celestia needs to make an apology herself.

Alternate universe story that takes place after Rainbow Rocks.

After watching another majestic night, Twilight is told to make a wish because wishing on a star always grants wishes. She refuses. After all, it's only an old pony's tale. Climbing into bed, she has a strange dream, yet little does she know, dreams are the desires and wishes of the heart. Upon her waking, she may just find that the stars are rather lenient in their rules and methods.

The whole royal family is happy. Twilight and her friends finally get their stay in Canterlot for a week, plus Rainbow Dash's coronation is coming soon. But there is still one problem; can Twilight and Rainbow learn the ways of true heirs of the throne?

Meanwhile, Starry Night has to learn the ways of modern Equestria with the help of her nieces.

Cheerilee didn't know when her life began to take a turn for the strange.

Actually, once she thought about it, she realized it had begun about two and a half years before, when she met a strange girl sleeping in the library. From there her life has been like something out of one of those ani-mees that she keeps hearing about.

She just wanted a normal life, but with a magical teenager in her house and friends that just won't leave her alone, that seems like a long shot.

Twilight thought she was coming into her own as Princess of Equestria.

With each passing day, she grew more confident in herself, her choices, and her ability to rule. She even began holding her own court these days, and enjoyed hearing out problems and working on solutions for her subjects.

Yes, she really felt like she was getting a handle on it all, and could deal with just about anything her subjects and the position of princess could throw at her.

Then a little green filly waltzed in and threw her one heck of a curve ball.

"I believe Cozy Glow should be freed."

Excuse me, what?

Twilight had no idea what she was in for, and all the aspirin in Equestria wouldn't be enough to sooth the headaches to come.

Was there something in the Equestrian water supply that was turning cute fillies into devious little monsters, or is she just that unlucky? Well, at least this one didn't seem bent on world domination. At least, Twilight hopes she isn't. This green nightmare might be even harder to stop than Cozy Glow if she ever put her mind to it.

This is not a "Cozy did nothing wrong and the main cast is evil," fic. Just a little filly who may or may not be more than they seem offering a different perspective on the whole situation involving an evil little villainess and what is the best thing to do with her.
