After so many failures in taking over Equestria, the sadistic Changeling queen has declared total war on Equestria. Forced to be spread out to different corners of the country, Twilight Sparkle and her friends prepare for what may be the toughest crisis they've faced, with an old ally returning to aid them.

Little does anyone realize, however, that something has come to Equestria, something which when discovered, will shake the foundation of the country to its core and turn the tide of victory in favor of either the Changelings or the newly established Guardians of Harmony. Which will it be?

Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy find Rainbow Dash and Applejack unconscious by a river and take them to a hospital. There, they find out what had happened to and between the two to have them washed up unconscious on the riverbank.

Following the events of "A Flurry of Emotions," Spike attempts to comfort Twilight when she worries about being the worst aunt ever after the events with Flurry Heart at Ponyville Hospital.

We know what happened at the end of 'A Flurry Of Emotions'. Twilight apologised for not spending enough fun time with her niece, and learned a valuable lesson. But, what if...she felt certain other ponies needed to be taught a thing or too as well?

We're about to find out.

It's been 12 years since the Crystalling and much has changed. Flurry Heart is now a alicorn filly and while her parents and Twilight along with Dragon Lord Ember are away she's left in the care of uncle Spike who is now a gigantic gentle dragon while all is wonderful an old enemy shows his face and Spike must protect Flurry Heart from it.

Twilight, in the midst of her last days, rediscovers one of her favorite fairy tales.
