Twilight is being plagued by mysterious dreams, and wonders if the Tantabus to blame when a strange key from the dream realm is found in her possession the next day. Why can’t she prevent herself from fretting over an overdue library book, when the world is in peril and Spike is eating the Elements of Harmony?

As Ponyville's self appointed animal helper, Fluttershy takes responsibility for all the critters around town. And with Fall already deep underway, she overworks herself to make sure all the animals are prepared for the long winter months. At least this time she won't be alone, as you offer to lend her a hand.

Maybe she actually won't work herself ragged this year. Maybe she planned ahead and started early? Or maybe did the same as she always does. Regardless, you'll be there to help the beautiful pegasus... And hopefully not make a fool of yourself in front of your crush.

AN: Just something small I started a while back. This started as a RP with a friend of mine (you know who you are.) So It's not perfect, it's just a little cute romance story involving YOU and Fluttershy. The dialog from you is implied, just trying a different writing style as I like to do.

I hope you enjoy, partially inspired by the cover photo. Feel free to point out errors, it's only proofread by me, once through mostly. So there is bound to be errors.

Songbird decides to go over to Ponyville to spend Hearts Warming. Songbird also wanted to go to Ponyville to spend some quality time with Twilight after what happened in the Storm Kings rule over Equestria. She meets Twilights friends and feels just like another pony not having to worry about her fame because for her she can't make a real friend. Twilight also wants to spend time with Songbird and starts to remember some moments from when she was a filly

In his cottage on the outskirts of Ponyville, she and her familiar, the pseudodragon Spike, live in simple comfort as she learns the secrets of the arcane. But her life of quiet study comes to an end the day the sun rises late. Soon after, she is thrust into a world of danger and adventure, seeking ancient relics that can save her world. But for Twilight, the most difficult task is something else entirely - making friends.
