Reports are flowing about ponies' Cutie Marks being stolen and replaced with equal Cutie Marks by a mysterious armored villain known as the Equalizer and being recruited by him throughout town after town, and his next stop is Ponyville. It's up to the Mane Six and Ben to stop this villain once and for all. But who is this Equalizer, what are his real plans in store, why are his cutie unmarking powers familiar and what connection does he have with the Mane Six?

After fully harnessing their powers as werewolves, Vinyl and Octavia open a stand by the town hall, biting paying ponies who wish to be werewolves. What can go wrong?
