Once, long ago, centuries after the deaths of her friends, Twilight traveled back in time to visit them with the intention of saying goodbye. She especially wished to say goodbye to Rarity, whom she had loved with all her heart, and had watched grow old and eventually die.

It did not go as planned. But, from the chaos, came a promise: Rarity would wait for Twilight.

Thousands of years have passed since that day, since the day Rarity promised that, and Twilight shall now see if that promise will be kept.

A fan-made epilogue to Monochromatic's Injuring Eternity because I read it and after all the tears were done, I felt I needed to write a short little thing which with Mono's blessing I am now publishing.

The true story of Somnambula is not quite the common tale told today. Though all else is true, the mare never returned from her visit to the Sphinx. A deal was struck and the Sphinx left in much higher spirits.

A short story for two wonderful characters written in a storyteller narrative for a moral end.

Twilight Sparkle knows Rainbow Dash; the pegasus is her wife, after all. But ever since Twilight crashed in the Everfree forest on her way to Zecora's hut, something has been wrong with Rainbow. The mare is off, in a way Twilight can't quite explain. She's off in such a way that Twilight knows it's not the real Rainbow Dash. It's an imposter.

All she has to do is prove it, and get her real wife back.

Many things can sow the seeds of friendship. In the case of Rarity and Twilight, it all began with a gust of wind, and a bookmark.
