This story is a sequel to The Family Hearth

The Shimmer family is going on a special Christmas vacation with their son and his significant other. Mt Canter Recreational Village – Camp Everfree’s sibling nature resort. The snow is falling and all this family has on their mind is relaxing with the people they love.

1. Midnight Sky is a character created by my amazing friend and fellow author, Rose Quill. This story takes place after Comparing Notes, which is a story I have co-authored with her. If you have not read it then I very much recommend doing so. This story is, however, still understandable if you have not yet done so.
2. Please be sure to watch all the Equestria Girls movies, as this may contain spoilery material otherwise.

Allykitty's Insurgence (Hint: Read that story first! Forgotten Legacy would also help) sparked several ideas for me. After talking it over with Allykitty, I decided to post some of them. Every chapter will be another short story/drabble inspired from that story and the Homecoming universe (look on the right side of the page) in general.

Since each chapter will be self-contained, I'll add extra descriptions as they're posted.

1: Curtain Call - Dreams and visions are always confusing. Especially when you're not really sure they're yours. Sorla, daughter of Sombra has this problem lately and it's time to separate real from imaginary. She hopes.

At the close of Rose Quill’s Chaos Theory, Sunset takes delivery of a battered old cruiser motorcycle. It’s a great do-it-yourself project for the summer after graduation, and it’ll be fun to ride it with her fiancée, Sci-Twi, once it’s done.
   First, though, she finds out a fundamental truth: there’s no such thing as a free lunch.

Following directly after the events of the previous story, Sunset and Twilight talk with Shining Armor and Cadence in an attempt to figure out why Flurry Heart, up until this point a regular human baby girl, is now able to transform into a pony-human hybrid with alicorn powers added into the mix.
