After the debacle of the Storm King's short-lived invasion and the fall of Canterlot, the former attacker, Fizzlepop Berrytwist (Commander Tempest Shadow), muses that the princesses' ability to fight was sorely lacking. Considering that she pretty much took them all down in seconds.

In order to prevent such an abysmal display in the future she has, through a few contacts around Princess Twilight, recruited the aid of a combat master who should be able to teach four princesses avoid such embarrassments in the future...

...Or kill them trying.

A more realistic take on the opening events of the MLP movie, where the entire cast is NOT hit by plot mandated incompetence. It is, as expected, significantly shorter.

One day, Applejack takes the Cutie Mark Crusaders to a mysteriously secluded corner of the farm, and when she sends them all home: each arrives with their own gift.

However, despite the treasures being similar in purpose, the way the fillies use them couldn't be more different.

Trade negotiations. Board meetings. Formal garden parties. Not the definition of a fun weekend for Princess Celestia at all.

However, Celestia has a plan. Rarity’s going to join her this year, and by their gossiping powers combined, they may be able to turn this upcoming convention into something a little more unconventional.

Over the course of man’s existence, there have been some questions that we haven’t been able to answer, such as what the meaning of life is and why we always lose a sock in the dryer.

However, there are some questions that one does not think to ask as they are... unusual. One of those, for example, is, “what would happen if Rainbow Dash was replaced by the longest continuously produced military aircraft in human history?”

One individual dared to ask that question. After being put through some of the most rigorous tests, these are the results he came up with.

What ponies do not know is that the two Princes of Darkness did meet each other.

Adagio, Aria, and Sonata have been together since they were born. When they took over Equestria, Adagio led them. When they were banished to Earth, Adagio led them. When they faced against the Rainbooms, Adagio led them.

Now, after losing all their power and being driven away, Adagio has had enough.

For the first time in her life, Sonata is alone. No magic. No one to guide her. No place to go. However, when she bumps into some familiar faces, she may find herself in a different place. Everything is changing fast and it's hard to take it all in.

In the present day, while Equestria is dealing with a recent influx of giant monsters called kaiju from a realm called Terra; two teams go looking for what was lost. One seeks under instruction from the being's creator to bring it and the countless lives aboard it back home. The other has far more nefarious intent in mind for this goliath called, Kardas.

After an encounter with a certain stranger-turned-friend on a late train to Canterlot, Flash Sentry goes back to where he started from, figuratively and literally, to get some insight. Coming from a heroic lineage filled with legendary guards, captains, doctors, and law enforcement over the centuries gives a lot of pressure to live up to it all. His earliest ancestor was the founder of the Royal Guard, and his own father was a legendary captain. Flash is convinced he doesn't measure up. But some memories might offer some clarity to the situation to see if, by large deed or small; just who Flash is. Not a crush, not a guard, but a Sentry; and just what the legacy of being that entails.
