In the months following the events of Part 2, Princess Luna comes face to face with a terrifying reality: Nightmare Moon is feeding off of her own self-loathing and shame, gowing ever more powerful. Now, more than ever, Luna needs forgiveness in order for her to let go of her shame, and prevent Nightmare Moon from making a comeback. To do so, Luna faces the immense challenge of overcoming her fear and asking for the Warden's forgiveness for enabling Nightmare Moon to take his wife and daughter away centuries ago...

But she is not optimistic. She knows the odds of him actually forgiving her are low. But faced with the prospect of Nightmare Moon's return, she must step forward, and face the consequences of her most traumatic mistake...

While a handful of references of suicide/self harm are present, nopony kills themselves in this story.

Starlight does a slightly better job at attempting to reform Chrysalis after freeing her friends and reforming the rest of the hive, and finds herself quite unexpectedly the new Princess of Empathy. Whether things go uphill or downhill from here will depend on who you ask. Twilight is thrilled, Chrysalis is miserable, Trixie is gay, and Starlight is just trying to cope with becoming royalty scarcely a year after being Equestria's most dangerous supervillain.

I've always thought Starlight more than earned her wings in the show, but, given that I also love Chrysalis, I decided to grant them in a way that ends with my two favorite characters not trying to kill each other.

This will be a series of mostly one-shots dealing with various aspects of Starlight's life after ascending, with a variety of tones; while it's marked as incomplete, the majority of chapters form complete stories. Obviously, there are an enormous amount of things to be done with such a premise, and, if you have anything you'd like to see explored—and also enjoy the story enough to comment—please feel free to request topics for future chapters!

It's been a few days since the Canterlot Wedding of Princess Cadance and Shining Armor. But the wounds are still fresh on the minds of everypony. The Mane 6 complete their community service to clean up from the attack. They then return to Ponyville where they intend to make things up to Twilight, meanwhile, Shining Armor is on his honeymoon with Cadance but is not able to completely enjoy himself as the words he said to his sister still haunt him. Meanwhile, Queen Chrysalis plots her revenge on them for her defeat.

But Equestria is in a state of unrest. And she begins to wonder if she can truly handle things.

After her sister's banishment, Celestia realized it was her failure that led to her sister's fall, and she vowed to build a better nation that her sister would have wanted. Here, Nightmare Moon is neither myth nor legend; everyone is taught about what truly happened to Princess Luna, and that the two are one and the same. Through her millennia of atonement, Celestia upholds her sister's visions for a better Equestria, reviving her lost legacy.

Now, at the 1000th summer sun celebration, the town of Ponyville is ready. Eager to witness the historic event, everyone's there to show their love and appreciation as they welcome the Princess of the Night's return. Would Nightmare Moon still seek retribution and bring nighttime eternal? Or would she reunite with her long-lost sister, graciously returning to her throne? It doesn't matter to Celestia. She just wants to see her sister once again.

A thousand years prior Princess Luna in her sadness, hate, and bitterness attempted to wrest control of the Equesterian throne. Her attempt failed just like in the main timeline but unlike the main timeline it wasn't Nightmare Moon that was banished, she didn't exist in this timeline, just Princess Luna. Now 1000 years have passed and the stars have aided her in her escape from her prison. Yet little does Princess Luna know that 5 years prior something terrible occurred on the surface of the planet. What will she find and who will she find when she lands on the planet's surface?

I know the title is long but it sounded cool.

He finds equestria and lands and hopes for bloodshed and a fight but is met with softy people who depend on friendship.
Will He satisfy his bloodshed or learn to control himself.

"Sup nerds, you thought I was gone for good? Of course not! I'm me, I'm perfect! No one could ever defeat me!"

"But didn't Gohan kill you?"

"Shut up, Nappa! In any case, I'm here to cause some mischief and fun, so that means running circles around Rainbow Dash, melting Twilight's brain, and making Rarity cry. I'm just jumping at the opportunity..."

On the day of the Summer Sun Celebration, Nightmare Moon returned from her banishment. The power she had accumulated during her stay on the moon proved to be too great for Princess Celestia, and Equestria's ruler was defeated.

Weeks later, Anon arrived in Equestria via unknown means. Although lost and confused, his natural resistance to magic made him quite useful to Nightmare Moon. To his surprise, he quickly became one of her most trusted servants and found himself falling in love with her. Even more surprisingly, it seemed like she was doing the same.

Eventually, despite Anon's best efforts, Nightmare Moon was defeated and Princess Luna returned. Everyone was rejoicing. Everyone... except him. Because Anon did not fall in love with Princess Luna.

Anon fell in love with Nightmare Moon.
