A year has passed since Scootaloo and Cherry Blossom adopted the de-aged Rainbow Dash clone named Prism Light. A few days ago was Mother's Day, and Prism sets out to find the best gifts she can to thank her moms for everything they've done.

Twilight and the gang had just defeated Sunset Shimmer and had their best Fall Formal Dance ever. A month later, stories of Rainbow Dash winning against Twilight Sparkle in a soccer match began to spread. There was one thing she didn't like about the rumor; Twilight scored once against her despite being a beginner and her being the captain of all sports team.

It was then Rainbow Dash decided to find who spread the rumor and make them clear the misunderstanding the school had. Can she find the one responsible?

She's always wanted somepony to treat her to a special romantic night, while being treated like a real lady. Turns out all she had to do was have a certain rainbow-maned pegasus catch her in a dress. Such an awkward moment will lead them to a night neither will ever forget.

When flying into Denver International Airport, there are many things that greet you as a welcome to Denver: the marbled purple and white peaks of the Rocky Mountains rising up from the western horizon, the iconic white fabric canopy that covers the main terminal like a huge tent, the crisp, clean air that can leave you short of breath if you aren’t used to the altitude.

But as you leave the airport and head west toward Denver, you get another welcome to Colorado in the form of a statue of a giant blue mustang.  Rearing up on his hind hooves, the 32 foot tall statue is a signature welcome to any visitor to the Mile High City. His glowing red eyes might seem sinister, but he is the standout piece of a great effort to bring public art and Colorado symbolism to Denver International Airport and Denver as a whole.

We call him Blucifer.

But unbeknownst to many, Blucifer is not the only blue horse that can be seen around Denver International Airport.  There is another horse, much smaller, measuring only five feet to the top of her head. She is not as fearsome as Blucifer, but she has many qualities that Blucifer does not possess.  She is fearless, devoted, and is willing to do anything to her job of keeping the skies around DIA safe for travelers.

Oh, and this little pony can fly faster than almost any commercial airliner.

Her name is Rainbow Dash, and she is DIA’s weather caretaker and in-air air traffic control assistant.

The sun is shining, the birds are singing. When Fluttershy stepped out of her cottage it was a perfect summer day. Or at least it would have been if she hadn't come across a certain rainbow-maned mare in her yard. One thing she wasn't expecting to find herself asking today was the odd question...

Rainbow Dash: weather pony, Wonderbolt hopeful, Element of Loyalty, and the fastest flyer in Ponyville (in all of Equestria if you ask her). She is happiest when she is in the air.

So, what happens when she is no longer able to fly?

After an accident, Rainbow Dash loses one of her wings. Losing her ability to fly makes the pegasus feel as though she has lost nearly her entire identity. It also means the loss of her dreams as a future Wonderbolt. Headstrong and hopeful, Rainbow Dash tries to find a way to have her abilities restored.

The question becomes: what will become of the high flyer? Will she gain her ability to fly once more? Will she come to terms with what happened and seek out a new identity? Or, will the tragedy leave her a shell of her former self that even her closest friends cannot fix?

Twilight Sparkle knows Rainbow Dash; the pegasus is her wife, after all. But ever since Twilight crashed in the Everfree forest on her way to Zecora's hut, something has been wrong with Rainbow. The mare is off, in a way Twilight can't quite explain. She's off in such a way that Twilight knows it's not the real Rainbow Dash. It's an imposter.

All she has to do is prove it, and get her real wife back.

Rainbow Dash hasn't been sleeping well, in fact, she hasn't been sleeping well for the better half of a month now.  Tossing and turning at night, sleeping past her alarms, and often waking up exhausted, confused, and with her hooves outstretched as if to reach out for somepony. Thinking she's maybe just exercising too hard she tries to take it easy on herself, that is until a series of unpredictable nightmares bring Rainbow Dash back to a place long forgotten by Equestrian history.

Inspired by the music of Cult of Luna, A Pale Horse Named Death, and the author's own dreams; This is a story about the things we believe in, the things swept away by the passage of time, and the things left behind that are still there waiting for you.
