Well, there is the 'What If?' of Dash being in a dress and Applejack in a suit, but that would probably work better as its own story.

I`m debating whether or not I should read this. It`s on Equestria Daily and it`s gotten many likes, but I hate AppleDash. What to do?!

2953019 The writing was nice, but with AppleDash I get no feelings. So no "Awww..." or anything. Really great story, but AppleDash just really bothers me. Nice change from the usual though. They almost always just do some athletic competition or something and then realize that they like being around each other and then they kiss in the orchard.

Saw an FA comic about these two and in the at the end they were muzzle to muzzle to wit I had to comment, "...and then they kissed?..." Then I read this and it all just fell into place. Yes! you captured aj and rainbow perfectly. and, though I'm sure you didn't mean for it, this fic fits in perfectly with another fic, Till Death Do Us part, which scribbler also did a reading of.
this was the first Appldash fic i heard of and its what got me into Appldash before i even realized i was a brony. i make like other couplings, including ones with twi and aj, but this was the first shipping part of the fandom i fell in love with and its all thanks to you.

This is, without a doubt, the absolute BEST Appledash fic out there.
I caught wind of this by Scribbler's reading of it. This story was the first one I listened to and I've come to love her readings ever since. The story itself is an absolute masterpiece. It also got me hooked on the Appledash ship. Great job, my friend! 
This was an amazing story. I heard the reading by Scribbler, she did a fantastic job on bringing this story to life, and you are amazing for creating this story in the first place.

Think this is the first mlp fanfic that I actively enjoyed. Was (and still am) an avid Appledash advocate, so seeing my vision realized by someone else has always been reassuring. But of course the question of how it's done plays an important role. And this story managed to potray the spirit of the show and its characteres accurately while sprinkling it with a lot of heart and emotion. All thinks considered a warm and fuzzy read and I'm glad I could enjoy it.
