Twilight hoped that mare-do-well would teach Rainbow to be humble. Instead, she leaves; just leaves. When they find her later, she lashes out at them. When even the Princess fails to mend fences between them, she along with the rest of the mane 6 attempt drastic action to fix their friendship. An accident during this leaves to Rainbow heavily wounded and with few supplies, in the hostile and merciless lands outside Equestria. Can she rebuild her life? Maybe make something more? Or will she fall, starving, thirsty, wounded, far from home, broken, and abandoned?

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic What If?: Volume 8

The ninth year of the show, eight whole seasons, seven main characters, six times in a row, five episodes from Season 8, four multi parters, three years of double releases, two volumes each, and one more release before the end of the show! It's that series which seeks to answer the fateful question "What if that episode had been written differently?"

There's only ten episodes to cover this time around, five from Season 8 and five from other seasons. This includes a redo, and a rewrite of two two parters, and some episodes that have been on the backburner for a while. Some other episodes will also be getting a touch up, and one will even be getting an interesting retooling to fit a possible idea. But which one that is will only be answered if you read the releases.

As always, the same disclaimer applies, the episodes rewritten are based on my personal opinion so please respect it. Don't get offended if an episode you liked is on the list here, or an episode you didn't like isn't. I'll gladly respect your opinions if you respect mine.

And of course, I mean no disrespect to Hasbro, the DHX writing and editing staff, or anyone who likes the episodes that appear here. The intent of this fic, like all of its predecessors, is for entertainment purposes only.

Twilight and the other Element Bearers thought that Rainbow's ego was becoming a problem. So they invented a hero to teach Rainbow a lesson. Instead, they learn that the only thing worse than a wounded enemy is a comrade betrayed. Never betray the Element of loyalty.

After an odd blue meteor crashes deep within the Everfree Forest, an insidious new substance spreads throughout Ponyville, and then to all of Equestria, corrupting the ponies it ensnares. Ponies everywhere must fight this new threat, but... they must also fight their friends, and even themselves.

However, one day a potion appears outside his door, and it holds the solution to his problem. Unknown to Terrus, there was some unintended ... side effects. He is learning more about what is causing his nightmares, but he doesn't know if he can handle the truth ...

I'm trying to get better at writing, so I'm putting this on hold until I believe that I can do this story justice. I don't know how long that will be, but I plan to finish it when I'm ready.

Two years after Pinkie and Octavia left home, the Pies felt the house had grown too quiet and they missed raising their kids. So when they agreed to have another, they made sure to inform their daughters the moment they could meet her.

Years later, Pinkie is celebrating her baby sister's birthday when her baby sister asks her about their other sister, the sister she never had a chance to meet.

Once again, I am alone in my prison. Doomed to spend eternity trapped in this underworld abode. Stuck in my cage without another soul to comfort me.

Except, for the first time during my imprisonment, I get a visitor. That visitor being the last person I'd ever expect to meet down here.

Spike's got three whole days to himself while Twilight is away at the Crystal Empire. Three whole days to be independent and free to do whatever he wants.

Or he would have, if a female dragon hadn't mistaken him for an abandoned hatchling. Now he's been snatched up and taken to her home to be "properly cared for."

Stuck in a cave with an overly-protective dragon intent on mothering him...maybe he should have just gone with Twilight.

It's funny what an idle slip of the tongue can lead to. When Discord makes an off-hand comment to Fluttershy about the mental diary he kept when encased in stone, she begs him to continue it. She says it will be "therapeutic", but he's sure it'll be a real bore. But who can resist those puppy-dog eyes and a bribe of fresh cookies? Grudgingly, he takes up a pencil to document his thoughts and experiences in his new life. A life among his old enemies. A life he never wanted.
