After being dragged into a Pinkie Pie party, gathering the Elements of Harmony, and facing off against Nightmare Moon, Twilight Sparkle just wants a good nights sleep. Unfortunately for her, she lives in Ponyville, and somepony just crashed into her bedroom. Somepony that looks unusually like her... albeit more stallion-ish.

This stallion, Dusk Shine, claims to be an older version of Twilight, from an alternate universe. How come he's so different? Twilight never graduated from Princess Celestia's tutorage or learned to play the guitar, or... befriended her monstrous, demonic self?

An AU fic that both expands upon and diverges from canon. Follow the misadventures of Dusk Shine as he navigates the waters of social interaction and friendship with varying degrees of success, follows the show pretty closely at the start, but as the story progresses it will drift further from canon.

While Twilight was teaching Starlight a new spell, a miscalcution happened and Starlight messed it up and caused a rift to open between dimension. As a result, the male mane 6 were pulled from their own dimension and brought to the mane 6 one.

As Twilight tries to figure out a way to send them back, her and the others try to help their male counterparts adjust to their new lives in their world.
