Life asks a question. Death answers. But what makes Death answer in such a way?

Life and Death have sat on their thrones, and done their duties since the beginning of time. But one question remains in Life's mind. Why do ponies fear Death?

Jonathan is a normal boy in a small town next to a enormous forest that is rumored to be once called, the Everfree forest. No one believes the legends that there was a land called Equestria anymore, the few who did having died ten years ago. But then, Equestria makes itself known, along with its sad past.

What if a changeling accidentally takes a small filly? What if that filly was all alone from the start? What if the very thing he fled from was what saved him in the end?

Prince Blueblood retires to his room after a long day, hoping for some much needed relaxation. As he walks in, he is happy to note someone waiting for him.

Fluttershy and Discord were always connected...They just haven't remembered yet.

Twilight isn't having a very good day. An experimental spell blew up in her face, an army of changelings is attacking Canterlot, and she just died. Yet somehow, it looks like it's going to keep going downhill from here.

Given the chance to correct what's gone wrong, Twilight swears she's going to fix all this even if it kills her. Which it will. Frequently.

It has been ten years since the defeat of the Changling Queen, and Equestria is again at peace. Twilight Sparkle and the Elements of Harmony have reached their prime, and have begun to settle down. Love and life abound in Ponyville, especially for Twilight's friends, but she has nopony to call her own.

A series of events lead to a horrible revelation, and Twilight is thrust deep into a terrifying web of secrets and lies. Her peace is over.

This time, however, she won't be fighting monsters or madponies. What she faces will be much, much worse.
