Twilight Sparkle is in love with Fluttershy, but now she knows what love is, she doesn't know how to express that love. So after seeing Applejack for advice she makes a plan to go on an adventure with Fluttershy to find this rare flower that shines silver, and sings when those destined to be together are present.

Can Twilight confess her love to the pegasus? Will Fluttershy enjoy going on this adventure? And will the pegasus accept Twilight's love?

Applejack finally builds up her confidence and decides to confess her feelings to Rarity. However, after the white mare makes a careless remark, Applejack realizes that Rarity hates filly foolers! DISCLAIMER: I came up with this story in late 2011 and started writing it in 2012. There are tremendous inconsistencies you will notice in this story, mostly having to do with Starswirl the Bearded and the Elements of Harmony. This is merely due to the fact that I had the summary drafted long before we saw the Season 7 finale which completely debunked my head-canon. Even though I have been able to change some things in this story to fit along with some canon in the past, I have decided to not change anything about Starswirl or the Elements since it was already a good enough story and I want to complete it as I originally intended to. As of now, you can consider this story to be "alternate universe" or "fan theory".

The pony residents of Equestria live in peace in their magnificent kingdom ruled by King Solmidas and Queen Chernalia. As their two daughters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna have both earned their cutie marks, it is now time for them to learn how to rule a country so that the crown can be passed on to them when the day comes for the King and Queen to give up their authority. With some training and help from their parents as well as the renowned unicorn wizard, Starswirl the Bearded, Celestia and Luna undergo many tasks and assignments. Once such assignment: making peace with the Griffon Kingdom lead by General Leogle.

Meanwhile, a wise magician and senator of the Alicornian parliament and a good friend to the royal family, known as Accord, sacrifices much of his own time to help improve the kingdom and make an even grander domain for the ponies he loves. Things seem to be going very well for the royals, but happiness soon turns to despair as the princesses' tasks become increasingly difficult and nearly impossible. Negotiations with the griffons continue to fail and rumors of war break out causing Celestia and Luna to doubt their abilities to rule Equestria.

Can the alicorns stop the imminent war to come between the once coexisting races? Why did general Leogle betray the alicorns so suddenly? And who is the real enemy in the midst of all this chaos? All will soon be revealed but it may come at the cost of dealing with the ultimate betrayal. Celestia and Luna will soon find that despite their failures, they are the only ones who can put an end to all of this. Together they will embark on a mission to save all of Equestria, unlock an ancient power hidden away for centuries, and learn that no matter how many times you fail, you are never useless and can still do great things if you believe in yourself.

Rarity and Applejack have been married for over 2 years, but what's this? Rarity is pregnant? - Rest assured, I love this ship too much so I didn't make this warrant a "Sad" category. Also, "Alternate Universe" is for lack of twilicorn.

This is my first fanfic. No proofreader, but I will try my best.

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

I loved 'er, but I didn't know how to tell 'er. Oh Celestia how did I get into this mess? I mean our love could never be, right? She was a unicorn and I an earth pony. She could never, no would never, love me. But I still had to try, right?

Applejack couldn't be happier with her life. She owns a great farm and has been married for three years to the love of her life, Rainbow Dash. It's everything she's ever wanted in life, but now she wants something more. A family. A foal. Can she convince Rainbow Dash that they are ready to take a new step in their lives or will a haunting secret from Dash's past prevent them from having one?

Applejack is bitter about her lineage among the wealthy and sophisticated Oranges of Manehattan, who apparently abandoned her simple country family. Rarity is desperate to fit in with the urbane elites of the fashion world, even if it means disparaging and rejecting the Ponyville home she loves. On a trip to the big city for Equestria's famous Fashion Week, Applejack will teach Rarity to be honest and true to herself, and Rarity will show Applejack that a little generosity and forgiveness go a long way. Together, they will learn that each has exactly what the other needs to be complete.

This story is in the same continuity as "The Fires of Friendship," and I suppose it is a sequel of sorts, though there is no need to read that story first. More than anything, this story is birthday present for a dear friend, and a fun celebration of her favorite ship.
