When the CMC find a old helmet Twilight believes that there was a time before Celestia's rule so Twilight and her friends go back in time only to find there in the middle of a war,with the help of some new friends they might be able to find thier way home or thier new graves. One bright and sunny morning in Equestria Twilight was organizing her library when all of a sudden the CMC came busting through the door "Twilight we found this hat thing."said a over excited orange filly "it looks like some kind of helmet were did you find this ."asked Twilight levitating the helmet in the air "we found it while we trying to get are cute marks we were exploring a cave and there it was."said a small yellow filly with a big bow in her hair the helmet was a light blue witch also had faded over the years and had the word C.O.G printed on the back. "Well I have never read or seen any thing like this before."said Twilight "maybe the princess wi-"but before sweetie belle could finish Twilight's friend Rainbow dash came charging through the door "hey Twi do you have the new wow nice hat."she said while eyeing the helmet. Later when the mane six were at the library "every one I have a spell that will take us back in time so we can find out what are history was like before the Princess."said Twilight "You mean there was a Time before the Princess?" said Applejack " "Maybe I dont think this from are time."said Twilight while holding up the helmet. "then what are we waiting for!"yeld pinkie pie "alright is every one ready?"asked Twilight "wait Twilight how will we get back?"asked rarity "the spell will take us there and back when were ready."said twilight "ok now is everyone ready?" asked Twilight and they all agreed and in a flash of light they were gone. there was another flash and there they were 200,000,000 years in the past "uh Twi were are we?"asked Rainbow dash "I dont know were but were in the past alright."Twilight said "Are you sure it looks more like the future."said Rarity looking at all the buildings but some thing was odd there was no one around.In the distance they herd a ticking noise from a creature as it came from behind a building they noticed it was a small animal about the size of a dog with a yellow pack on its back.It started to hiss and shake fluttershy went closer to the animal "The poor things scared."she said but before she could get closer a tall figure ran by and kicked the creature into the air hiting a street lamp causing it to explode into fire and blood. "Fuck yea did you see that Nick the Cole Train dont got nothing on me!"the figure yeld after launching the creature to its doom. The figure was a tall muscular creature with a helmet like the one the cmc found Fluttershy looked up at the figure who just murdered the poor animal she gazed at its deep bright eyes and fainted. "What the." "look what you did Clay you made it faint."said another figure who came from behind cover, he was not as tall or muscular as the other figure but he had a different helment with two yellow stripes at the top of it. "Leave her alone you creeps!"shouted Rainbow dash "Well thats not really nice"said the smaller figure as he was charged by her the other figure could not help but to laugh "man you just got took down by a" but before he could finish she got back up and charged him "Get off me you crazy bitch!"he yeld as he was pushed to the ground. "Would you kindly leave my squad alone."another figure called out as he emerged from an ally way the figure was around the size of the first with two red stripes on his helmet. "your squad!"the first figure yeld out while picking up the pony and throwing her back to her friends. "were sorry for the miss understanding."Twilight said "What ever."said the third figure "do yall have names?"asked Applejack "Yea iam Corporal Nathen Dutch thats Clayton Carmine as he pointed to the first figure and thats are rookie Nick."finished Nathen.
"Well iam Twilight." "Iam Applejack please to meet ya." "Iam Rarity." "Iam Pinkie Pie" "Iam Rainbow dash and thats Fluttershy."she said as she pointed to the fainted pony on the ground."Those are some girly names."said Clayton"Well we are girls."said Pinkie "Great welcome to Bravo2." "Wait who died and made you leader?!"asked Clayton Nathen just stoped and held up a pair of Cog tags and said "Rashawn."
"What do you mean like dead as in gone." asked Fluttershy as she was hideing behind Rainbow dash "yea thats what dead means stupid." answered Clayton with a pissed off tone "HEY dont call her stupid!" screamed Rainbow dash "Oh sorroy Rainbow shit!' replied Clayton "Alright buddy your going to-" but before Rainbow could finish a bullet passed by her face that nearly took her head off . "AMBUSH!" yeld Nathen as bullets sprayed from all directions "find cover quick!" yeld Nick they took cover behind a fallen column "Clay you and me lay down covering fire while Nick gets the horses out." orderd out Nathen over the gun fire "Well actually were-" "Not now just go!" said Nathen cutting off Twilight as a Drone kicked him over the cover.
"Come on hurry!" said Nick as he picked up Fluttershy who was still unconscious as they were trying to find a shelter a near by building collapsed in front of there path. "Great now were do we go?" asked Applejack Nick quickly looked around for a place to hide and there it was an old bar "Every one quick into the bar!" he comanded as they ran inside Nick set Fluttershy on the bar while Twilight locked the door with her magic "You think locking the door will stop those things Twi?" asked Rainbow dash with a little fear in her voice "Well your friends are coming back right?" asked Twilight "I-I dont no ." Nick answered "Agh I cant take this war any more Iam no killer i just want peace!" he screamed as he slamed his fist on the table "Then why did you join them?" asked Rarity "Becuase they force us to, make us fight and die for them but I wish in the future I can live in a world were there will be no war ,no fighting just peace," said Nick this made the ponies very sad knowing that there new friend could never have the peace they have back during there time. "Ahhh So what did i miss?" asked Fluttershy wakeing up.
A few hours later a loud banging came from the door as Nick grabed his gun the doors flew open then there they were Clayton and Nathen came through the door helping each other walk in they were tired and hungry. The ponies gasped as they saw them covered in blood and guts "W-What did you do?" asked Twilight who felt very sick just by looking at them "Sister its a long story"answered Nathen breathing heavily "Hey weres the bacon!" yeld Clayton. After cleaning up and a ok meal the two Cog soldiers stood on the balcony of the bar "would you look at that" said Nathen with a smirk on his face that was covered by his helmet as Clayton turned around he saw Nick huddled up with the six ponies trying to keep each other warm. "Good grief."Clayton said while facepalming "Whats the matter?" said Nathen as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes "What the hell is he doing."said Clayton "Just trying to be a good friend to them." Nathen answered offering a cigarette to him Clayton shook his head no saying "You know that shit will kill you." "Thats why I do it." Nathen said while takeing off his helmet and holding it with one hand and smokeing the cigarette with the other. Breathing out the smoke he repeated "thats why i do it."
As the sun started to rise its bright,yellow rays shined into Carmine's visor he started to get up but he felt some thing holding him down as his eyes adjusted to the light he saw Rainbow dash standing on his chest "What the get off me you dumb pony!" screamed Clayton "No not until you apologize to Fluttershy." said Rainbow dash putting more force down on Clayton's chest. "For what?" said Clayton trying to situp "For calling her stupid." yeld Rainbow dash "And why on Sera would I do that?" asked Clayton getting annoyed. "Becuase if you dont I will um well then I will make you!" yeld Rainbow dash "Well I got a better idea." said Clayton as he picked up Rainbow dash and threw her out a window.
"Nice try but I can fly smart one." said Rainbow dash as she flew back through the window "whats going on up here?" said Nick and the other ponies as they walked up the stairs. As they came to the top they saw Clayton holding Rainbow dash by her tail as she was kicking him in the head "will you two stop your acting like siblings." exclaimed Rarity "Siblings were nothing alike." said Rainbow dash as she finally got free of Clayton's grip only to roll into a chair "Hey iam not finished with you!" said Clayton as he got up and jumped on Rainbow dash "Man are they always like this?" asked Nick "Yes." said Fluttershy and Nathen who was just coming up the stairs. "Every one pack up were moving out." ordered Nathen, Clayton who was getting tired of fighting with the pony obeyed the order and went down stairs. Rainbow dash who's mane was more messed up then it normaly was asked "Twi can we go now?" "Sorry Rainbow but we need to find out more of the people who use to live here." answered Twilight "I can tell you about them there mean,there rude,and thier dirty."said Rainbow dash getting angry "You know Rainbow that sounds a lot like your self." said Rarity
"ok listen up there should be a evac point at the library-" but before Nathen could finish Twilight yeld out "a library were you keep books and stuff about your history!" "Uh yea thats what a library is so any ways if we can get there we can get help and help get you home." finished Nathen "Then what are we waiting for lets get this show on the road!" screamed Pinkie as she hoped outside.
"So how far away is it?" asked Nick as they left the bar "About two Klicks away." said Nathen looking at his map "Lets just hope we dont run into anymore of them monsters." said Applejack but as soon as she finished two Boomers and a squad of loucst came from behind a building "You just had to open your mouth Applejack!" said Rainbow dash. the five ponys and two soldiers took cover behind a bus while Clayton and Rainbow dash were behind a bench "BOOM" yeld the monster as it fired a rocket at a tower causing it to fall. "LOOK OUT!" yeld Clayton as he pushed Rainbow dash out of the way of the falling tower "OWW You broke my wing!" screamed Rainbow dash in pain "Hey I just saved your life!" yeld Clayton "I am the fastest pony in Equestria I could have dodged that myself." argued Rainbow dash "Well sorry if I was worried about you." said Clayton angrly "You were worried about me?" asked Rainbow dash a little confused and happy that he was worried about her. "Yea. Worried about what your friends would say if they found out I let you get smashed!" yeld Clayton pissed off now more then ever "I can take care of myself." said Rainbow dash but just as she finished a Wretch jumped out of a building onto Rainbow dashes back.
"agh AH man, hey are all yall ok?" asked Nathen as he was recovering from the collapse of the tower. "Yea I guess so." said Nick as he started to stand up out of the trench he and Fluttershy hid in. "Hey weres Rainbow dash and Clayton?" asked Twilight nervously worried for her friend "We most likely got separated when the tower fell." responded Nathen as he was scouting for more grubs "Iam more worried about them killing each other." said Rarity "Dont worry Clayton is a really nice guy once you get to know him." assured Nick but as soon as he finished they heard a sound of a gnasher being fired from behind the tower.
"OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE!" Clayton screamed as he begin to cry "Please if you could ever forgi-" "HEY CAN YOU PLEASE GET THIS THING OFF MY BACK!" yeld Rainbow dash as Clayton droped a sign witch read " 25% Off all bacon!" that he shot by misstake "Fine." he said as he walked over and threw it at a trash can wich then Rainbow dash walked over and bucked it the head. "Thanks for saving me and all." said Rainbow dash a little embarassed to admit it "You know maybe we started out on the wrong foot or um hoof." said Clayton correcting himself. " Rainbow dash a little confused asked "So wait are you apologizing to me?" "Well yea I guess I am."said Clayton "Well then apology accepted." replied Rainbow dash.
"You know I like girls like you who are not afraid of getting dirty." said Clayton Rainbow dash who was amazied that the creature that was yelling at her this morning was now hitting on her "Thanks most other ponies think iam a lezpony becuase I do boy things and hang out with mares." said Rainbow dash scared to admit some thing she never told any one else not even Fluttershy. "Well tell the next pony that does that will have to talk to your friend Clayton Carmine! But I know how you feel." said Clayton who was also scared to admit it. "You do." asked Rainbow dash surprised at what the soldier had said "Yea people call me gay just becuase some of the things I say." finished Clayton "Well you can tell the next person that does that will have to talk to me. joked Rainbow dash as they finished laughing at the joke Clayton said "I really like you rainbow dash." Rainbow dash replied "I really like you to, if only you were a colt." Clayton laughed and said "if only if you were a woman."
"Hey Applejack." said Twilight as they followed the two humans "yea what?" asked Applejack trotting beside her friend "Have you noticed that Nathen has a accent like yours." said Twilight "yea so what?" replied Apple jack "you should ask him about his life we barely know anything about him." finished Twilight "Just becuase someone share a accent does there mean there the same Twi but if ya wont me to." said Applejack as she trotted closer to Nathen "Hey um Nathen can I ask you some thing?" the soldier who didn't really cared what was going own behind him replied "Ask away." "Well um did ya by any chance grow up on a farm?" she said causing the soldier to slower his pace "Yea I did." he said wich surprised most of them "well what did you farm there?" she asked "imulsion." he said the ponies witch were confused on what imulsion was witch that caused Twilight to ask the question "what is imulsion?" before Nathen could answer Pinkie Pie asked "Iscandyorsomekindofcakebatterorisi-" "Um no its are fuel what we use to run are citys." Applejack thought it would be a good idea to change the discution "So do you still keep in touch with your Family?" she asked Nathen said "No not really." hopeing they will leave the subject alone but then Apple jack said "Oh were you not close to them" Nathen droped his Lancer picking Applejack up by the neck chokeing her. Then he suddenly droped her falling to his nees and said "I-Iam sorry." Applejack who was still gasping from air trotted behind Nick while Nathen just got up and started walking away from the group.
"Look there they are!" screamed Rainbow dash as they walked over a pile of rubble Twilight looked up to see her friend ran to her saying "Rainbow you were right they are evil." Rainbow dash who was confused asked "What do you mean? "Nathen just started to choke Applejack." replied Twilight Clayton who understood what was going on said "What did you say about his family?"
