They say minotaurs live by the scars they bear. Bismuth's hide is a map of the world. His life was the blade, and the blade was his life, carried unto a hundred red fields, down a thousand roads, singing among elk, deer, and dragons. He stood at ramparts long since fallen, and was counted a hero in lands forgotten, when ponies had only begun to dream.

Maybe it's all true, but now he rocks in his chair, stirring at embers, while his deeds turn to rust in the shadows. What kind of scars call that living? And if you ask him, would he tell you?

This story is a sequel to Foal Quest

Reading the first story isn’t necessary but it is still a good read.

To fight off the icy cold weather, Twilight invites her friends over for "A Warming Party". It's sort of like a tea party where they get together and join in some pleasant conversation, but the big difference here was the strong desire to stay as warm as possible against the cold weather outside.

Contains diapers and diaper usage. Please don't keep reading if you disapprove of any of these themes.

When you must wear diapers practically all the time, you not only learn how to endure critics' constant gaze and ponies calling you weird names, you also learn tons of interesting things about the different diaper brands, how much they hold, which size is better for any kind of pony’s body, how strong are the tapes or which designs and colors are available. That makes Sugar Pad, a kind mare who only two years ago moved to Ponyville, the perfect candidate for this job in front of the Diapers & Powders subsidiary in this small town. But in an unusual specialized store, interesting things could happen, unusual clients with unusual needs and likes, clients who really don’t want to be in there but really need it, and tons of different situations to take part of. That’s what Sugar Pad must do every day in this job.

Once again thanks to my good friend Squigges for being the editor of my story and helping me to improve my writing every day.

Warning: This story is strongly related with diapers and contain few scenes of diaper usage, please avoid reading it if you consider those topics weird.

Being a young dragon while doing chores every day for a unicorn who strives for perfection and hardly receiving any praise already hurts enough but saving an empire and still not feeling appreciated by your friends is even worse. Now add slight depression, boredom and MORE work. These feelings have been going on for quite some time and trying to hide how he really feels certainly isn't easy. Luckily for Spike, he finds a way to relax even if it probably isn't considered "normal." Then again, since when has normal ever been both relaxing and interesting?

Warning: Will eventually contain diapers and depressed Spike. Do not read if you are not into these kinds of stories.
You have been officially warned!

I'm incredibly grateful to Ceffyl Dwr (ed: now paperhearts) for editing and criticising and all that jazz, but most of all for encouraging me to get this story finished. Without him, it wouldn't have happened.
