Nightmare Moon has spent years of accumulating enough magic for herself to materialize after her defeat by the Element Bearers. She is separate from Luna. Her own being. She does not want eternal night anymore, having realized it would doom Equestria.
She can only think of the Sun. Of how dear is the Sun for her actually. She wouldn't take it from the skies... Everything needs her.
Even dark creatures as herself.

Spike has often felt hindered throughout his life, especially after moving to Ponyville. He took pride in being Twilight's number one assistant, but there were plenty of times where he felt like an errand boy. One who got into situations that required him being saved. A recent development has changed things however. Not to a grand scale, but it was still significant. And he loved it. So much that he needed to enjoy it. And the night was a perfect time for it.

After saying goodbye to all his favorite fatty foods, an already obese Spike balloons out overnight. An angry and dissapointed Twilight places him on a brutal diet and exercise regiment. Twilight is summoned to Canterlot to aid Princess Celestia with state affairs. Pushed to his limit, Spike breaks down over his predicament. Starlight Glimmer comes to comfort the morbidly obese dragon and reminds him that being big and jiggly has its perks.

Contains: obese dragons, sexual undertones, fat admiration, fat play, and slob elements including messy eating, sweating, burping, and farting. If you don't like any of these, go back now.

The first standalone story I've done on FiMFiction, any help or criticism is appreciated.

(Collab with yodajax10 who suggested the idea. Takes place during and immediately after the events of "The Mean Six".)

When Twilight starts to pack for a camping trip with her friends, Spike volunteers not to come along and instead stay behind and manage the school and Twilight's castle.

However, the little dragon is crushed when he finds out that Starlight will be going on the camping trip as well. All alone and with no friends to spend the weekend, Spike isn't sure what he's going to do.

That is, until he gets an idea and writes a letter to Princess Luna. Now, Spike will spend the weekend with two very special (and very familiar) guests. And they'll be more helpful than they might suspect.
