The next Nightmare Night is approaching fast, and this time Luna's going to come to scare everypony as Nightmare Moon the first time intentionally. A few days before she leaves for Ponyville though, she discovers the friendship reports Twilight has been sending to Celestia. Interested in these, she reads them and realizes she has a crush on Twilight Sparkle.

How will she react to this revelation, and will Twilight return those feelings?

Twilight has grown up and graduated.

Celestia now begins to wonder about her own life and if she is still needed to be there for the younger generation and if they still need her to guide them.

Applejack had always felt secure in her friendships, with the Elements of Harmony tying them together like family. But when the Elements are gone, she can't help but feel her friendships slipping. In this troubling time, one of those she thought she was losing comes to prove just how wrong she is.

After nearly being mugged Twilight turns her considerable talent with magic towards self defense. When a fight with Luna goes farther that either of them wants it to, Twilight will need to find redemption in her new position as Luna's bodyguard and stop a conspiracy that wants to bring back a force more dangerous than either of them.

Twilight is invited to Canterlot to compete with some of the greatest magicians in the world for the Moonstone Cup, a prestigious award for the most powerful and skillful magicians, unicorn and otherwise. Can she win? What sort of competition will she face?

Since when does Twilight Sparkle ever fail?

Celestia had a problem. Somepony wrote a novel about Nightmare Moon's rebellion. This made Luna quite unhappy, and unfortunately for her sister, Luna has not yet gotten the hang of modern traditions like freedom of speech, the abolition of the death penalty, and not bothering Princess Celestia when she's trying to sleep.

Fortunately, Celestia also had a faithful student, one who is now a Princess with an ill-defined portfolio and perfectly capable of dispensing justice by the laws of both today and one thousand years ago.

Now Twilight Sparkle has a problem.

Only one week ago, a terrifying evil more powerful than Discord, Chrysalis and Nightmare Moon combined, escaped from Tartarus. Much to the surprise of both Princess Luna and Princess Celestia, the Elements of Harmony proved inferior to the power of this monster. Twilight Sparkle and her friends, however, knew of this, but said nothing. They knew that the Elements would draw upon their own life essence and eventually kill them, all for the sake of saving Equestria.

Now that the six most famous Ponies in Equestria, apart from the princesses, are gone, the citizens of Ponyville as well as the two regal Sisters stand by their graves and give them their final farewell.

So... I got the idea for this fic no more than three days ago. I have a damaged wrist so the amount of writing I can do is limited, so I postponed it. Today, however, I said fuck it and sat down for three hours in a row and just wrote!
This is the end result, no editing, no proofreading, I bring to you; My raw work.

We all knew Twilight Sparkle was a powerful sorceress, but none of us had ever realised just how powerful she truly was. It is no underestimation if somepony said that she’d be able to challenge an immortal to a battle and come out as the victor. The possibility was there, of that there was no doubt, the only thing that was needed for her to actually defeat an immortal, such as myself, was for her to realise her full potential, for her to realise just how much power was stored in that small body of hers
