Rarity just couldn't find any passion in her relationship with her special somepony and felt she had no choice but to leave him. This has happened time, after time, over and over. Rarity just can't figure out why she can't find a relationship that makes her happy. When Pinkie Pie comes over to her boutique to comfort her, she gives her advice that Rarity has never thought of before. Maybe she didn't like stallions, but instead, mares! Rarity soon discovers that she has been hiding all these feelings from herself for all this time. Rarity then soon finds out that maybe the strongest feeling she has been hiding...was the one for Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie pie writes a letter to someone that she likes and tells this person how she felt. How she really felt. She has been changed, she knows that, she can never be the same, and dealing with it is hard, but, can she continue to deal with it?

Equestria isn't what it should be.

Celestia is a figure of distant mythology. Progress has replaced harmony as society's watchword. Progress born of spell, steam and gears. A dark corruption eats away at Canterlot and stretches out its influence.

In the shadow of the dying capital are scattered points of light. The selfless pink toymaker, caring for nothing but a smile. A unicorn noblemare feeding the ghettos. An airship captain who gave up wealth and status to stamp out injustice. They, amongst others, are thrown together by danger and flight, and find themselves gambling on a desperate bid to restore Equestria.

In the long history of Equestria, the two royal sisters are an enigma. Why are Celestia and Luna on the Equestrian flag when they were not there during the founding? How did they come to rule over the nation? And what really caused Luna to become Nightmare Moon?

Twilight has discovered a new spell to use in tandem with the Elements of Harmony. Its intent is to reveal more of the mysteries behind the artifacts. Yet once the spell is cast will the mane six be able to deal with the consequences? What will they learn when they come face to face with the very virtues they claim to embody? A lovestruck knight in Equestria's early days, unconvinced of his own worthiness, decides that he must prove himself to the mare he loves. With Princess Cadence as his guide, he is put on a quest by the Crown to go forth and right wrongs and ease sorrows associated with latent Chaos, all while learning of the Elements of Harmony from the ponies' companion races.

The entire piece is written in iambic pentameter, with the exception of a few English sonnets, which are italicized.

Lashona is one fine sassy woman living the dream. No debt, no kids, no husband, she's got it all. Due to forces beyond her control, she finds herself in Equestria.

And she isn't having any of it.
