Summer is nearly over. It's finally time for the girls to prepare for college. Although except for one, Sunset Shimmer has been very anxious and can't decide well what she will do for her future. But another problem is on their way again for the girls' magical geodes are slowly currently missing one by one.

As the girls dealt with their latest challenge, the powerful ancient Equestrian magic spell Sunset used to open the portal to another world caused a lingering imbalance. Sunset's entry into the human world displaced an unfamiliar but missed character, whose absence is noticeable whenever Sunset is present in the story.

In this story, we're going to reveal what happened to the human Sunset Shimmer.

Love can be a fickle thing, it can be ever changing. It can also be one of the hardest things to find. However honest love can be the worst of them all. When someone finds their true love could they ever truly love anyone else?
For Applejack that saying is stronger for heart than any others. Even if she found her love she could never try to get him. Not with his heart filled by another, it wouldn't be honest.
However if someponey's were there to push him in the right direction maybe their hearts could become one.

Spike's dating life, though uneventful, takes a blow after saving Fluttershy's life. Why? Because she's threatening every mare he comes into contact with! The issue is Spike doesn't like her back, and Rarity's becoming concerned.

Will Spike be able to survive Fluttershy's craziness? Will his recent injury allows him to finally score the mare of his dreams, Rarity? Will the insanity and absurdity of it all render Spike with a conclusion different from what he was expecting?

War is dead, destroyed by the ponies when the created the greatest weapon of all time, the M.A.G.E.'s. When they were released upon the battle fields against Equestria's enemies, they lost all will to fight, ending all war, and leaving the ponies with a weapon that was no longer needed.

But, thanks to a pair of pioneering individuals as well as the creator of the M.A.G.E. units, Equestira was soon able to partake in a new kind of entertainment, in the form of the Tower of Tartarus. In the tower, The M.A.G.E.'s were pitted against each other for the enjoyment of their pony creators, all of them trying to reach the top and win "The Prize."

However, one M.A.G.E. is different from the rest, for it remembers what others cannot, as well as things it should not. It has been to the top before, only to fall, but it shall rise again, and discover the truth about its existence.

Dear Small Pony Book,

Hello. My name is Thorax. I am a changeling formerly of the Badlands Hive, ruled by the terrible Queen Chrysalis. Nowadays, I am fortunate to call the Crystal Empire home, and their Royal Family my friends.

Since I'm rather new to living in pony society—without orders to infiltrate, of course—my new friends have been doing their very best to help me get acclimated to this strange, alien way of life. To this end, Princess Cadence has instructed me to tell you of my experiences so that we might use this as time to reflect together. However, I do find it strange. How am I to discuss my day to day interactions with a book? Especially one without a name? You can't not have a name, that would just be rude. So, I will just have to figure one out for you.

I'm not sure why Cadence is laughing at that, or why Shining Armor is groaning. This is a very serious issue.

These ponies are strange. But I don't think I'd have them any other way.

A little thing for me to fiddle with when I'm bored. Updates will likely be sporadic. Tagged as a prequel/sequel to The Face I'll Wear because it will explore some of the same themes and will show events before and after the story.

When Twilight Sparkle finds her usually brash and confident friend in tears how can she deal with the surge of emotions she feels and can two such opposites build a successful relationship?
