Sweetie Belle abandons Ponyville in search of the source of strangeness threatening to overwhelm her. Fortunately, she has a pet bird to keep her company.

Rainbow has loved Twilight ever since they defeated Nightmare Moon together. Recent events have broken Twilight's resolve, and her heart. It's up to Rainbow to piece her back together, bit by bit. She’s the loyalest of friends and most dependable of ponies; how could anypony not fall in love with Applejack? In fact, so much of the town has found themselves under her seductive spell, they’ve formed a secret society to help each other cope with their unbridled lust. Operating in seclusion, this group has been an unseen staple of Ponyville. Surely, though, nothing good can come of the mare herself discovering the existence of Applejack Anonymous.

Time in Ponyville has broken. Everypony is dealing with it in some way or another—except you. You're fine, somehow. Oh, and me. I suppose that's where things start. Let's be on with it then, shall we?

It's Father's Day, but one certain Element of Honesty is alone, so Rarity, being the generous mare she is, offers to let Applejack come with her and Magnum to Ponyville's finest restaurant. However, when Rarity sends the letter to her father explaining, a horrible misconception is made: Magnum believes that Applejack is his daughter's marefriend, here to have him approve of his daughter's choice in love.

Rarity is panicked.

Applejack thinks it's hilarious.

King Sombra survived his defeat, but just. By the time he returned to form, Twilight became the newest princess of Equestria and the Crystal Empire was restored to its former glory.

He cannot take over Equestria the same way he tried before, but he has a card up his sleeve. Twilight won't see it coming, and Sombra might gain a powerful ally in the process.

When Twilight Sparkle invites Applejack and her little sister to lunch with her and the rest of her friends, Apple Bloom is thrilled to be joining the mares on a grownup lunch. She resolves to get Twilight Sparkle a gift to thank her for her thoughtfulness. This gift serves two purposes though, and it's not until much later that Applejack discovers that Apple Bloom was setting up Twilight Sparkle and Applejack to become marefriends from the very beginning.

Warning: Third-person limited with multiple POVs. This is a shipping fic with the Applejack and Twilight pairing.

In the heat of the moment, some ponies have a habit of letting things out. Sometimes they are minor things that most just shrug off and forget about in a matter of milliseconds. Sometimes they are things that, once revealed, shake the very foundation of their existence.
