This story is a sequel to Brushed Away

Despite being one of the few Gryphons living in the land of Equestria, Troius Clawston couldn't be happier with how his life has been. Along with having good friends and a stable job in Weather Patrol, Troy is happiest about his life for one reason: Canvas, the Earth Pony artist that he saved and befriended, who grew to become so much more.
However, before the two can begin their lives together, Troy has to overcome a new challenge in his life. Something he never thought he would have to face until now...

Because of strong Gryphon values which look down on alternative relationships, how will Troy's family react when they discover he's not only with someone of a different species, but of the same gender? As traditions clash with taboos, how will the Gryphon handle telling his brothers and parents, while still staying with the stallion he cares about? Can he keep everyone together, or will family bonds break under pressure?

This is the story of Golden Sun, your everyday 16 year old stallion; shy, funny and a great friend, who works in a coffee shop as a cashier. His life is not particularly exciting, that is until the day he meets the love of his life, Night Star, consort and advisor of Princess Luna. He is not only one of the most handsome ponies in all of Canterlot but he is also a fun, loving, caring and responsible pony with a secret no one else knows.

After some plans to get to know each other better the two of them start feeling something for each other, but they can’t tell the other for fear of losing him.

What will the future tell for our lovers?
Will their love conquer everything?

Caramel's cutie mark is rather strange one; his special talent is supposedly spreading luck to himself and those around him, but in more than one form. He is new in town, and the shy earth pony is finding job-hunting and making friends a little difficult. This all changes with a chance meeting with Sweet Apple Acres' resident workhorse and the aftermath of Applebuck season leaving the farm short on labour. As the months pass, a strong bond of friendship is forged between to two stallions, and all kinds of shenanigans ensue.
