The Cutie Map calls on Twilight and Rarity in order to investigate the town of Hollow Shades, a gloomy village with a fearful populace and an unsettling fixation on dolls. On top of it all, there's a new leader running the show: a mysterious unicorn known as Lady Mari who protects the town in exchange for their servitude.

For some reason Twilight and Rarity can't shake the feeling that they've seen this all before. But that can't be true—this is just another friendship problem, right?

It's Sunset's first winter since being reformed, and her new friends are intent on her learning all about what she's been missing to help her get past her guilt over past actions. A chance encounter, however, leaves the girls stunned as they stumble across the human dimensions Sunset Shimmer, who is anything but what they expected.

In a freak storm, the abandoned building Sunset had been calling home for almost four years was destroyed, lightning and fire leaving naught but memories and ash. Her friends rally around her, offering support and a sofa to sleep on.

But this won't do - not for Generosity.

But even with a roof over her head, Sunset can't help but feel out of place. It's up to Rarity to look after her friend, and maybe even help Sunset find herself a home?

Sunset Shimmer finally had the guts to visit Equestria again. After having a quick chat with Twilight, they both decide to return to the human world together. Upon entering the portal, something goes wrong. They end up in an alternate human world where extreme street racing is the only way to make a name for oneself. The world is ruled by the Grand Champion, Torque, who will give any racer who defeats him rule over the world. Not surprisingly, everyone is racing for a chance to beat him. Twilight and Sunset Shimmer must find a way to gather their scattered friends and find out what the heck is going on. The thing is, Twilight and Sunset need to earn their respect first.

While the girls are enjoying a slumber party, an ancient Equestrian artifact activates. Now everyone in town has a lie meter above their heads. Meanwhile, Anon-A-Miss is set on exposing secrets and ruining friendships, but this new magical phenomenon might cause the nefarious profile to lose power.

Sunset's favorite jacket is looking pretty beaten up after that whole rainbow laser explosion, and she doesn't know the first thing about fixing leather. Obviously she knows someone who could help her, someone who's already agreed to be her friend. But after everything she's done, she doesn't really think she's in a position to be asking favors. She hasn't earned anyone's friendship yet, and she certainly doesn't deserve anyone's help. Still, she's got no other options. So she'll just have to swallow her pride and beg Rarity to take some pity on her.
Rarity certainly has her work cut out explaining to her how friendship works.

Set after Equestria Girls, but before Rainbow Rocks. No shipping. Just awkward, self-loathing Sunset and generous, understanding Rarity.

Graduation is coming up for the Canterlot High Wondercolts, and Sunset Shimmer is questioning whether she should stay in the human world or come home to Equestria. While spending another lonely night in the bedroom of her apartment contemplating the same question over and over, she stumbles upon an old, worn out spiral notebook that she and her friends thought had once been lost. Seeing the many memories the notebook contains prompts Sunset to realize how much she's changed. Will she stay in the human world or will she come home to Equestria?

Sunset Shimmer is a pony, so she likes pony things. Granted, a nice hayburger isn't exactly easy to come by in the human world, but that shouldn't stop her from using the products she's used to from Equestria, right?

Well, her humans friends might disagree, as Rarity does when finds a rather odd bottle of shampoo in Sunset's bathroom.

A short little story inspired by the Equestria Girls Monday Blue music video and my fellow fans of Sunset Shimmer, especially RileyAV, who noticed a peculiar bottle on Sunset's shelves in the last music video.
