Tis better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all right? For Twilight, that phrase is the best way to describe herself. As she sits out on the balcony on this starry night, she looks out at what could've been, what would've been, and what is lost, but at the same time she sees what is gained and what she now has.

Alright, so I don't know what to really say here, I'm a fan of TwiShy and I feel the appreciation for the Book Princess and the Shy Tree Pony is very hit and miss, so (quite a while ago) in a span of 3 exhaustion-filled hours and 2 hours of editting by me and a good friend, I am publishing this story that quite honestly began as an exercise in character-writing. Well, hope someone enjoys!

Long ago, the Monsters and Humans fought a great war. The Monsters lost, and were sealed in the Underground. It would take the power of seven human souls to break the barrier that kept them imprisoned. They only had six. And so the Monsters waited and hoped, praying that another human would find their way to the Underground. Some thought the seventh soul would give their King the strength to break the barrier. Some dreamed of a human who would be their friend, and save them all...or had nightmares of one who would bring back the war.

...but nobody came.

...but somepony did.

Eons after the war, with no way to tell how much time had passed above, a tiny blue filly with wings and horn fell into the underground, calling for her Mama. None knew the poor creature's nature or origins...but her soul was powerful with magic, even more so than a human soul.

None can know what will come...of this little 'Woona'.

With the culmination of events on the BSL Research Station, Samus Aran is finally able to come back to Equestria, Planet Equis; to come back home. Much has changed in her absence, but it is still the friendly, peaceful, welcoming planet and nation that she left behind two and a half years prior. With the Space Pirate threat neutralized and the secret, illegal Metroid militarization programs destroyed, it appears that Samus can finally take another massive breather with her friends and enjoy some well-deserved rest, recovery, and relaxation. Fluttershy invites Twilight Sparkle out for a night of stargazing so that she can fix her rescued telescope, but the trip does not go according to plan.

Twilight Sparkle is a princess. She has an important role as a leader of Equestria, which means she has to worry about what everypony thinks of her. So when she overhears a private conversation, she has to come to terms with how she feels about herself, love, and a certain somepony, all while weighing her public image against her personal desires.

Twilight Sparkle is in love with Fluttershy, but now she knows what love is, she doesn't know how to express that love. So after seeing Applejack for advice she makes a plan to go on an adventure with Fluttershy to find this rare flower that shines silver, and sings when those destined to be together are present.

Can Twilight confess her love to the pegasus? Will Fluttershy enjoy going on this adventure? And will the pegasus accept Twilight's love?
