It was no secret that Fleur de Lis had a huge crush on the very important, and charming, Fancy Pants. She's willing to do anything to show him that she really cares, even visit the 'muddy old town' Ponyville to get some pictures of the place for him. However, when she's there she meets local farmer Big McIntosh. Now, something has changed.

Grading papers, answering questions and teaching the young minds of Ponyville has swamped her social life, blocking her hopes of finding Mr. Right! But when all hope is lost to find that special guy, she receives a love letter and all of the troubles that comes with it.

Luna is invited to visit Sweet Apple Acres by Big McIntosh. As they tour the newly created bat sanctuary, the subject of a mysterious new animal visiting the orchard comes up. Luna decides she would like to see the creature for herself. Luna sends one of her guards to look for the creature on his own while she and McIntosh search another part of the grove. The guard finds the creature, but it turns out to be anything but what he was expecting.

Rarity, known for her generosity, decides to let her stay in her boutique. They don't get along at first, but after some time, Trixie starts to feel something she never has before.
