I never wanted this. I had a good life. Granted it wasn't very exciting, and I wasn't exactly the most important person in it, but it was mine. I don't know why you did this, or why you chose me, but I promise you I will find you. I don't know when. I don't know where, but I will find you. Trust me, I've got all the time in the world, thanks to you.

Carlos Aviles was taken from his life and pushed into a role he thought was only fantasy. In a new place, with access to strange knowledge and power, he has to decide what to do with the rest of his life. More importantly, will this new-found purpose change who he is? Or will he hang on to himself?

My take on an old classic. I write this in an attempt to freshen up older cliches, and as an exercise in showing and not telling.

My best friend, Veronica, had turned twenty-one today, and I wanted to do something nice for her. Everything was set: the food was ready, her gift was neatly wrapped on my desk, our apartment looked a hell of a lot tidier than it usually did – it was perfect. Until I realized that I'd forgotten to get a cake.

But then after braving the snowstorm that had blown in and getting to the bakery, I found two strange-looking, half-frozen butt-naked women on my way home.

This was not how I had expected the night to go.

A sudden and powerful magical event consumes all of Ponyville in the space of a few moments, and when Twilight and her friends come to, they find the landscape around them quite different. And the world they discover, to be devoid of magic and inhabited by strange beings.

One of these beings is Asher Burgess, the oldest son of the family whose secluded, Colorado ranch has suddenly become the location of an entire town of alien creatures overnight. Their lives are changed forever as they find themselves the link between the ponies and their own nation.

Bewildered by this new world, things start getting more urgent as more of the Equestrian world arrives piece by piece, and not all of it is so friendly. Searching for answers, Asher, Twilight, and the rest of the gang stumble onto more questions, and uncover an amazing secret. One that could either save them all, or doom both worlds to annihilation.

(Set just after the events of season 3 finale. Diverges from there, movie has no effect.)

For over a week, the east coast of Equestria has been haunted by something lurking in the waters. There have been reports by merchant ships, coastal cities and towns, even pirates, that there is a beast hiding under the waves. Those who have witness the dark beast, say it appears when Luna's moon is high, then disappears beneath the waves when Celestia's sun rises with complete silence.

When Twilight Sparkle and her friends are tasked by Princess Celestia to search for the monster, and hopefully, ask it to leave, they will soon find out that the beast hiding in the shadows is not what they expected, nor is it a beast at all.

When the Brony International Guard came to town Lyra thought all of hers dreams had come true. Finally, she had proof that nopony could argue with. But there's something strange about these creatures who call themselves 'bronies'. It isn't just their weird humor or quirky behavior. They're keeping secrets from everypony, and only Lyra seems to notice, or even care. None of investigations have solved this mystery just yet, but with the arrival of some new divisions, she may finally have the chance she needs...

When the merry bunch of misfits from B-Company get transported to Equestria, what's the first question that comes to mind? What happened to them? Where are they? What will they do? What will happen to them? For them, none of these questions will be their first. Instead, their first question will be: Where did Marlowe go?

This story takes place immediately after the end of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and for those of you who have not played the game, the prologue has a basic description of the characters and the story behind the aforementioned game.
PS: The tagged characters may not be all prominent ones, but they all represent who each of the squad would most resemble in Equestria.

Many people are set into a single frame of mind, sure that there can be nothing left to explore, nothing left to learn now that the vast maw of space has been tamed. You were one such person.

It was a normal day for you, slacking off in between deliveries for your job as an express courier whilst you try to pull some artistic inspiration from your view into a nebula. No one could have predicted that said nebula would collapse as you flew through it.
