Soon after a confrontation with the Dib human, an accident on Zim's space base causes it to go through a wormhole leading to an unfamiliar world. At first, Zim just wants to return to his base, but he changes his mind upon thinking about conquering Equestria after dealing with Earth. He manipulates the strange horse beasts to teach him about their pitiful lives so that he'll be prepared for when that time comes.

One of these creatures finds out about his intentions and teams up with Dib. They are dead set on revealing what Zim's true intentions are to the citizens of Ponyville. For whatever reason, Dib and his new minion both have something against the Twilight Sparkle unicorn.

Darkness and corruption plagues Equestria. Gangs have sprung up overnight, violence has become the solution to petty disputes. The authorities are powerless to stop the spread of evil. But a hero will rise...

Equestria needs a hero. A hero that is strong, brave, charismatic, and able to penetrate the inner workings of the twisted.

Equestria needs a saint...

Instead it got a drunken madman.

Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

Fluttershy finds an interesting item in the woods: a mask. Such a simple thing. And yet, it causes quite a bit of a stir in Ponyville.

(Left 4 Dead crossover) Francis, being the idiot that he is, messes around with a computer, and soon finds himself, Zoey, and Louis in a strange land full of ponies, while Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack get transported into the human world, to find Bill and a city full of zombies.
