In this story, Pinkie shares a retelling of her life as an immortal. The idea came to me over the past few days and so I decided to write it down. This is the first story in what is now my "Immortal Suffering" series.

Everypony claims to have so much left to say and do, when they realise that their time is near. One thing that few accepts is the fact that they can do nothing about it. They're often too old and too weak to do anything about.

One old mare, Applejack, realises this. And while she is unable to do anything about all that she didn't say or do, she takes comfort in what she did and said in her youth. In her final moments, she relives the fond memories of her past.

Thousands and thousands of years have passed since the return of Nightmare Moon. Not much of anything remains in the barren land of Equestria. On the hillside of a forgotten town, overlooking the dusk of sundown, lay two sisters holding the only thing that remains to them; each other.

Applejack has always had a secret dream, one that some ponies would find strange for the tomboyish farmer. She's always wanted somepony to treat her to a special romantic night, while being treated like a real lady. Turns out all she had to do was have a certain rainbow-maned pegasus catch her in a dress. Such an awkward moment will lead them to a night neither will ever forget.

The epic of Pinkie Pie and the Immortal Man who's fate is tied to Equestria's. His life will be filled with dangers, choices, secrets, love, and most importantly, beauty. As time flows, the world begins to understand the immortal, and the immortal begins to understand his true purpose in the universe.

As disorder descends within Equestria and in the immortal, he must fight for the survival of himself and for the ones he loves. He must venture out and discover the truth in the oldest and most sacred realm in all of Equestria. Meanwhile, an ancient deception comes into effect and Equestria must fight to survive. Will time take hold of what once was lost to it? Begin your adventure below.

Two side notes: This story is based off of pre-season 3 knowledge. Any future information that may warp this story does not necessarily effect it on pre-season judgment. Second is that this fan fiction is based off of the Where the World Ends Map.

The events of the Wonderbolt Academy have played out and Rainbow Dash is in the stretch to achieving her dream but still has a hard time getting a certain erstwhile friend out of her mind. After taking a few minutes to contemplate things, she decides that she's been given enough second chances in her life to see to it that somepony else gets one as well.

Rated Teen for some language later on, though nothing extremely vulgar.

Twilight has discovered a strange old book purportedly written by Star Swirl the Bearded, and Rainbow Dash discovers a latent spell in it that transports the two ponies to a strange island in the middle of nowhere. With no viable options available to them, Twilight and Rainbow begin to search the island for clues to a way home and the reason behind the odd puzzles and contraptions presented to them.
