Johnson, A.K.A. Honored Service, is starting his new, nonviolent and peaceful life in Ponyville. With the recent war between the ponies and the Nightmare fading into the history books, Honored is told to live a life of friendship and tolerance in Ponyville. He must learn to overcome problems with out the insane amount of gratuitous violence he is accustomed to. Honored is left in the care of the Elements of Harmony who are about to experience a new type of hell on Earth... a bored human soldier.

Celestia leaves to deal with a foreign crisis, giving her sister a chance to rule alone and become more attached to the modern world. She calls on Twilight Sparkle to advise Luna, hoping her student will be able to draw Luna out of her shell. With two major threats to Equestria already defeated in the past year, it seems like the perfect time to let Luna gain some confidence and experience in the modern world. After all, what are the chances of a third disaster occurring?
Dismayed after her loss to Chrysalis, Celestia departs the royal wedding reception early, retreating to her royal chambers to console herself with a bottle of wine. Concerned for her sister, Luna soon follows to check up on her...
