This story is a sequel to Project: Sunflower

After the events of Project: Sunflower, Erin Olsen has returned to Ponyville, happy to pursue her studies in magic. After everything that happened the year before, she's looking forward to spending her days studying and having fun with her friends.

Meanwhile, on the newly discovered world of Harmony, humans and ponies work together to study this strange new world. However, their arrival causes something ancient to begin stirring. Something that may end up changing everything.

Erin will need all of her courage, all of her cleverness and, of course, all of her friends to see herself through what happens next.

When a crash reveals how badly Rainbow Dash has been neglecting proper hoof care, her friends insist she get a hooficure. It's for her own good, after all! But why does the prospect seem to bother her so much? A concerned Fluttershy tries to help... and uncovers a painful secret she never suspected.

Rainbow has always kept her friends at foreleg's length -- can the two ponies' relationship survive such close contact?

Dinky Hooves is excited. For the first time in her young life she’s about to go to school. Her goal? To learn, have fun and above all else: make some friends.

But the path isn’t always so cleanly cut. Bullies, her own overwhelming shyness and a slightly (Read: very) over-protective mom stand between her and the life she wishes to lead.

And maybe there’s a little something about that cool colt...

Twilight has been having her study sessions with the Cutie Mark Crusaders for some time, and has been remarkably pleased with their progress. And kind of worried, as they keep getting better and better. She might be a princess now, but TEACHING THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS? She'd rather not become their formal mentor. Yet.

A letter is sent out, and Princess Celestia gets a call for help. And, an opportunity is born. After all, why not? After a thousand years, perhaps it is time to do something else, just for a bit. She does have a rather wonderful younger sister who hasn't been ruling a land for a thousand years, and who has been studying how to rule for the past four rather intensely. So, teaching three fillies undercover? Sounds like fun.

And Luna. She's wanted to be as respected as her sister so much that she once went mad over it. But now, she's simply being handed the power that she once coveted for so long and no longer wants. What kind of a world does she live in now that her highest desire has been so casually granted?

With all of this, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Arcs:

Escape: When Celestia hears the call, she jumps at the chance to teach again, especially three fillies who might surpass her grandest student. But first she's got to escape her own identity...
Examination: So you want to find out what a filly does? Time to test her silly, so long as you don't taunt the Happy-Fun Filly.
Excitement: So, you've found the Happy-Fun Filly. Great, but the other two need help as well, and Scootaloo has this ~Great!~ idea for how to use her new-found magic...
Encouragement: Cometh the Bubbles, and a whole load of new headaches as they find out just what being a Happy-Fun Filly really means...
Exaltation: Where's Luna been this whole time? She can't be very happy about being left in the lurch holding Equestria. She could really use somepony to talk to.
Exercise: 'Sunbeam' is looking to teach the Happy-Fun Filly more, but first she needs to start taking care of the wagon-tire she keeps around her middle so that certain Unfun-Time Fillies don't interrupt her. And there's this big draft stallion looking for help...

Scootaloo may have gained a big sister in the dark hours of the night, and not without thanks to a certain princess, but that doesn't mean she's having an easy time falling asleep. Rainbow Dash offers some assistance, in the form of a late-night storybook. Bridging scene that takes place after Dash and Scootaloo's nightly embrace, near the end of Sleepless in Ponyville.

Before the presentation, Silver Spoon was ready to laugh at Granny Smith and mock Apple Bloom mercilessly. When the presentation was over, she was the first to applaud the wizened old mare. On the surface, this is just a simple gesture and nothing more. After all, everypony else liked Granny Smith's story (except for Diamond Tiara). What makes Silver Spoon's applause so different other than the fact that she was first?

Believe it or not, there is an answer to that question. Because to Silver Spoon, that simple gesture carries a lot of meaning, even if nopony else notices it...

Rainbow Dash, age three, spends a heartwarming day with her family.
One cute filly, two loving parents, and plenty of time to themselves. What adorable, everyday adventures will they get themselves into? First thing in the morning, Rainbow decides that she is going to be a cat; it only gets cuter from there.

For her entire life, Twilight Sparkle has looked up to Princess Celestia as a teacher, mentor, and role model. At no time was she forbidden from asking for advice when troubled by a problem. As she grows up, however, her problems grow far more complex, and far less scholarly, in nature. Will she still be able to seek her mentor's advice on more intimate matters? What sort of advice can an eternal princess offer a young mare?
