After receiving a summons from the Princess, Twilight and her friends are led into a curious task, one that they find themselves ill-prepared to handle - managing their stallion double! As each of the girls meets their very own carbon-copy-colt, they learn that dealing with themselves can be much more frustrating than they first thought.

Yet it is this torment Rainbow Dash is experiencing when Applejack is left grievously wounded; knowing her own failure doomed her marefiend. Now Rainbow Dash is willing to do anything to undo what was done, even if it the price turns out to be her very life.

After a journey to get a plant for Princess Celestia's herbal studies the friendship between Rainbow Dash and Applejack becomes uncomfortable for Rainbow. Applejack doesn't know why Rainbow is acting weird but she can tell there is something wrong.

Romance story between Rainbow Dash and Applejack

Alternatively titled: "Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most"

It’s been two weeks, and Rainbow Dash couldn't be happier that she was dating Ponyville’s most dependable pony, Applejack. Applejack, while unsure of how it would turn out at first, finally starts feeling comfortable enough about their relationship and tells Dash that they can finally tell their friends about it.

As she’s planning how to best go about telling their friends, Ponyville is met with wonderful news: Applejack’s mother, Apple Butter, is going to be visiting Ponyville, making it the first time in ten years that either of Applejack’s parents have visited! With the entire town planning a welcome party, the two mares may find it hard to tell their friends about their relationship, and they’ll come to realize why Applejack’s mother might make it even harder.

Rainbow Dash loses her job and is soon about to lose her home when applejack steps in to save the day.
Working with Rainbow can be a challenge and getting rainbow to work can be one too. Welcome to life on the farm!

Out of the kindness of her heart, Applejack tries to teach Rainbow Dash a few basic recipes. But what starts as a cooking lesson soon turns into a bit more than that, especially when sparks start to fly - both figuratively and literally. Through this culinary misadventure, Applejack and Dash quickly discover that the potential exists for them to become more than just friends.

But will this relationship prove successful, should they choose to pursue it? What will their friends and Applejack's family think? Will Dash to actually learn how to cook? Only time will tell...
