It is the year 2038, and the Earth is slowly being consumed by a space-borne monstrosity dubbed the Black Tide, which is using nanotechnology to remake the planet into something hideously alien.

Erin Olsen works for Project Harmonics, humanity's last-ditch effort to find a new world before the Tide can wipe them out. But when that world is found, and it turns out to be occupied, Erin will need to find the courage to face the unknown in order to save the inhabitants of both worlds.

And what happens if she chooses incorrectly?

After Big Macintosh helps the Mane Six out of a jam, he finds his ordinary life of
peaceful routine thoroughly disrupted by the various misadventures those crazy
ponies always seem to get themselves into.

Sunny Flare gets a response on her dating profile from a boy she's actually interested in dating for once, and Twilight gets her very first hit on her profile. They decide to make it a double-date, and hopes aren't all that high, but Sunny Flare may just find someone who can understand her burdens and be there for her like nobody else.

After the defeat of the sirens by Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and the Rainbooms, Twilight believed they would be rendered powerless normal human girls. When they return claiming to be starving to death without their song magic, will even Twilight Sparkle have it in her heart to let them back into Equestria to feed on the misery they must create? Or will they have no choice but to let death take the sirens?
