After a long day with the Weather Ponies, Rainbow Dash flies home to hang with her favorite filly. At home, spending time with her, she reflects on a few of the biggest moments of their past year together.
Just a cute one-shot.

Slightly based off the movie Evelyn Also a sequel to My Little Scootaloo
Rainbow Dash has accomplished her dream. She finally got into the Wonderbolts. But the time away from her adoptive daughter, Scootaloo, has been troubling.
But one day while she's away, Scootaloos' real father breaks in and takes his daughter back by force. Now Rainbow Dash needs to find a way to get her daughter back. Blood related or not.
"Gather round, I got a bit of a story to tell. It don't got much to do with princesses, dragons and the like- not even much of a happily ever after. But things worked themselves out all the same."
"This is the tale of a little filly, no older than the ones you see scurrying about town- futures as bright as their smiles."
"The Kid ain't have it so lucky."
"Her classmates, even some of her friends would poke fun at her. Some even called her a chicken.
Children can be cruel like that.
One day, Kid got some news, started believing all that hogwash. Broke her little heart something fierce. But between you and me, Kid had more guts than any chicken I seen."
"I should know, because I was there..."
(Narrated in the voice of Ruck from Bastion.)
Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo are trapped in a place where your fears and horrors come true, The Rainbow Factory. It is a place that comes as close to a Hell on Earth as anything. Now they must escape with a little help from an unexpected source. (My own Alternate ending to the Rainbow Factory. If you don't like, don't read! Cover art isn't mine. Rated teen for blood, cursing and ponies getting crushed into rainbows.)
Taken place after the events of Sleepless in Ponyville and Wonderbolt Academy, Rainbow Dash has Graduated top of the class at the Academy and is on her way to see her friends to tell them all about it. What happens though will prove how strong her new 'sisterhood' with Scootaloo has become.
Echo is a high ranking changeling officer. The Canterlot invasion was going perfectly, and her battalion had personally defeated the Elements of Harmony. Suddenly, she finds herself far flung from Canterlot, crashing into the Everfree forest. Now she is faced with a difficult reality - her hive, the only family she's ever known, no longer exists, and she must adapt to life as a pony. What she finds out about herself, though, will surprise her.
Rated Teen for occasional suggestiveness and language, tagged gore for brief violence, particularly in later chapters.
Dark because later chapters get pretty ... well, dark.

Addendum 5/29/2018
This story is now, as of this addendum, five years old. It is getting more attention as I put out new chapters on the sequel.
I recognize that this story has problems, and that some of them by their nature carry over to the sequel; please remember that when I started writing this, I was not yet even old enough to legally drink in the US. A lot has happened and a lot has changed, and there are many things about this story I regret including, but which it is now too late to change. Some of those things I have simply done my best to ignore and make irrelevant, but some of them are errors from a 19 year old me that will haunt me until the sequel is finished.
In short, please be gentle.
Scootaloo grew up at an orphanage ran by Gerda. The old hag had clipped Scootaloo's wings last time she tried to escape. Now, under cover of darkness years later, she has finally escaped and boarded a train to Ponyville. Will she stop running from her past long enough to enjoy her new life?
A slice of life story that will follow Scootaloo from orphan to daredevil, from the Cutie Mark Crusaders to Dash teaching her to fly, and beyond!
This story is lightly self-edited and I'm aiming for a pace of a short chapter a day. It keeps me busy while my editors work on my other, more "serious" stories
Warning: This story contains way too many cheesy pop culture references, and horrible title puns. They're my guilty pleasure.
Everyday, Scootaloo has to travel these streets. She has to remember that tommorow can be a better day. But how can she have a good outlook if everyday gets worse?
