The reign of Morgoth in Arda is over. He has been defeated by the Host of Valinor and the Valar have bound him once more in the chain Angainor and cast him through Doors of Night into the Void. There he has drifted for many long ages, pondering his deeds and his defeats until Ilúvatar comes and offers him a chance at redemption. Softened by ages in the endless Void, Morgoth accepts this chance at freedom. He is given a new body and sent to a new world with the task of learning the values he has shunned for so long. In this new world, under the watchful eyes of Equestria's Valar, the Dark Lord will come to realize that there are yet things greater than the power of darkness.

Also yes, I understand that there's no "e" in Silmarillion, it's a pony pun. Sil-mare-illion. Geddit? GEDDIT?

Dragons have been relying on shipments of gems to live. These gems have served them well as a substitute for meat. They know that to go to war with Princess Celestia would be paramount to suicide. Yet food is running scarce. Their only remaining source seems to be the ponies. While Princess Celestia maintains the facade, the problem festers.

Rarity, the most distinguished mare in Ponyville, has never been one to care for brains over beauty. But the day she meets a shy and quiet pony, she realises that beauty is only skin deep. Or circuit deep, in this case.

An old threat has come back to conquer Equestria. But this threat will throw our favorite ponies into a fate that nopony saw coming. Can our heroes overcome the challenges that will test their will and friendship?

A little bit of background: This story I plan to last at least 35 chapters. I will do my best to release at least one chapter at least once a week. I came here to get some basic reviews on the story and see if people liked it. Please feel free to comment your honest thoughts. This is one of my first attempts at creative writing...and lets just say the other attempts did not go well XD.

This is dedicated to my Dog Dusty Moore. He passed away in mid June from a brain tumor. A 7 year old miniature schnauzer. He was there for me when others weren't for many years.

Applejack has taken a job on Earth, and agrees to host the Crusaders for a visit. When an emergency comes up, the fillies are left to take care of themselves.

Sometimes, your inventions can bring about great good for humanity. And sometimes, they do the opposite. However, a single man actually did BOTH with his creations, and is one of the few survivors left on Earth after the "Ash fall". He decides, with his breakthrough in spatial rendering, to leave the destroyed Earth behind and go for a new world. He aims to go to a fresh Earth, where everything is as it should be, without his existence.

Unfortunately, he goes slightly off-course, and ends up in the wrong world. How will his technology get him through this?

If any of you don't like a little pseudo steam-punk, then you shouldn't read this, because the main character's technology is heavily influenced on its style...except for three certain things.

The beginning of the story was inspired by "Techno-Babble in Equestria" made by N64Fan. You should go check it out. It's pretty good.

Three girls. How did three girls manage to completely obliterate my understanding of the universe? Well, I guess I shouldn't call them girls (even though they look like they are), ponies would be the better description.

All I wanted was a nice breakfast and a chance to skip class. But the world decided to break on me instead, or maybe I broke it. I can't really make heads or tails of things anymore.

But what I do know is that I found three girls and they were scared. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've got to help the Cutie Mark Crusaders get back home.

I was always a brony. My wish was to go to Equestria. One day, as in on the brink of death after an incident, I woke up in a new place that was peaceful and happy compared to our own planet earth. After I figure out where I was, I felt uncontrollable joy until I figured out that I was not a pony or a human but I was something feared by every living thing and Equestria. I was a dragon. No matter what I tried to do I was always hunted down and almost killed one too many times. I've tried to explain that I'm harmless, but no one would understand that, especially when it's coming from a dragon. My life was a struggle each and every day, but managed to survive. This is my story.

DISCLAIMER (Edited): Swearing is used, but not any serious ones (F--- and S--- and b---- with more creative ones in play. Now, there will be heavy fighting used, so, gore is turned ON, but there is very heavy doubt that this will be a clopfic. Dream on.

John Morrison, a cold hearted, sometimes quiet, smartflank who has been through many tough times in his life. Starting when he was twelve and in middle school. He had to choose two path's after his parent's deaths. He chose the path to protect and serve. On one mission however, the team's jeep got hit with an RPG. Everyone but John managed to get out of the jeep, with him being in the gunner seat, so he took most of the blast. When he awoke, he was in a strange land, and totally unharmed. With his pistol drawn, he sets out to find how he got into this strange land.
