One year has passed since the day when the Elements of Harmony took the perhaps-slightly-shocking route of killing Discord. Thanks to their quick thinking with body disposal, Twilight and her friends are all but home free - that is, up until Celestia presents them with their counterfeit Discord statue, asking them to change him back to normal.

In the midst of Ponyville being plunged into chaos, Twilight and her friends finally manage to use the Elements of Harmony for the first time, and in doing so successfully stop Discord from wreaking further havoc on the land they hold dear. Problem is, the way the elements do this isn't quite what they had in mind. At all.

Twilight Sparkle had only spent a few days recovering from her visit to Our Town and the defeat their cult leader when she finds a letter from said unicorn dictator, stating her intentions of revenge that she definitely has already planned, and that she will keep an eye on her, not because she's living in the castle and has been stealing her food to survive.

Twilight is thrilled, Chrysalis is miserable, Trixie is gay, and Starlight is just trying to cope with becoming royalty scarcely a year after being Equestria's most dangerous supervillain.

I've always thought Starlight more than earned her wings in the show, but, given that I also love Chrysalis, I decided to grant them in a way that ends with my two favorite characters not trying to kill each other.

This will be a series of mostly one-shots dealing with various aspects of Starlight's life after ascending, with a variety of tones; while it's marked as incomplete, the majority of chapters form complete stories.
