Anonymous, asshole extraordinaire and a rotten egg by all accounts, has fallen on good times after being made a commander of the Storm King's vast armies. With the King's forces and equipment at his fingers, he's found great success conquering nations, sowing chaos, and kicking the asses of all walks of life. All while having a rip-roaring great time doing it.
But the day of the Storm King's biggest conquest to date - the nation of Equestria - looms just around the corner. All that's left now is the final few preparations for the invasion: loose ends to tie up, new weapons to seize, and even some co-commanders to annoy to no end. And once those are complete, Anon will be the first in line to take Equestria as his next conquest.
God help us all.

This isn't the first horse story I've written, but it is the first one that is prose instead of greentext. And I'm still a bit rusty on top of all that. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!

Rarity was in for a long haul. She only had a couple weeks to complete what was turning out to be her biggest commission of the year so far. And on top of that, she had to babysit Sweetie Belle and her friends for a whole stormy week!
Thankfully, Spike has come to her rescue by handing down to her a magical device Twilight and Sunset created connecting to the so called “World Wide Web” of the human world. This is supposed to be able to keep Sweetie and her friends occupied while she works on her latest project. Apparently, it’s even able to read bedtime stories to them!

This story was inspired by Rated Ponystar’s Student Six Watch Fallout Lore: The Storyteller Series. The story that introduced me to the concept of reaction fics and one that I recommend you read sometime.

If you aren’t familiar with the Bedtime Stories channel on YouTube, I highly recommend you also check them out. Its the perfect channel for this eerie time of year that I’m currently writing this story in.

For those concerned about the tags, I want to make it clear that the tags describe events that happened in the real world and that neither the CMC nor any other characters in this story suffer any tragedy. (Except for Twilight when she finds out that Spike gave away her only access to all of humanity’s knowledge.)

When Aster fell asleep, he expected to wake up in the forest he fell asleep in, and have to face the music for his actions yesterday.

He didn't expect to wake up in a bizarre pocket dimension. Nor did he expect to suddenly become A spirit of Mayhem and Havoc. And he's pretty sure he isn't dreaming by the time Discord basically adopts him.

But hey! He's in a new world with crazy Chaos Magic at his disposal! What could possibly go wrong!

...A lot of things actually, especially considering the type of stuff his now-adoptive guardian pulls on a regular basis. Oh, and there's a filly out take all the magic for herself. He should probably figure out a solution to that problem. And maybe take care of the magic draining centaur and mean bug lady while he was at it.

But, causing ripples in fate isn't without consequences. Because while he doesn't realize it, at least not yet, a butterfly effect in the river's of fate can end up switching the course of the river entirely.

Also, he can't help but miss his old home...

Discord knows many things, has powers that can make heads flip and worlds turn upside down with a snap of his fingers, but if he's turned to stone again if Twilight can break her friends free from his influence, he was going to need an heir. Before his secondary loss, which he knew would eventually be inevitable, he chooses someone from another world, a young man named Charles, to take his stead and be the next Lord of Chaos. But with a new life comes a new body, and it's hard to be a menacing, chaotic deity when you're turned into a young draconequus colt.

Luna is back but with the mind and body of a much younger pony. While she seems to be returning to her natural state quickly, it could be a year or more before her mentality is ready for ruling a kingdom. Celestia fears that in this state of development Luna will endure lasting impressions from her surroundings. Celestia is hit with the idea to send her sister to Ponyville to learn the ways of her new world.

With new friends and a new obsession Luna works to adapt to a new Equestria.

After his betrayal, Discord was sentenced to ten years in stone, with four parole periods a year, on holidays. He was also given a holiday to celebrate Chaos, which is his first parole period of the year. Over the course of a year, the Mane 6 and Discord will celebrate Topsy Turvy Day, the Summer Sun Celebration, Nightmare Night, and Hearth's Warming.

Established Fluttercord; I don't yet know if there are any other shippings. Spike is off learning to be an ambassador to the dragons, so he's not around at the moment.
