Timberwolves. Among the most fearsome creatures to lurk in the depths of the Everfree, these hulking, wooden monstrosities have sharp senses that make them deeply efficient at hunting and tracking ponies and other sentient beings that wander into the forest—and making sure they don't ever leave. Anypony with a lick of common sense knows they're not something to be trifled with, and any (generally ill-advised) venture into the Everfree must be done in groups and/or with extreme caution.

The new species of hairless ape that keeps falling from dimensional portals in the sky into the depths of the forest, however, seems to be entirely lacking in said common sense.

Not to be taken especially seriously. (Not that me saying so is seemingly stopping anyone.) Features implied violence, but no gore.

A thousand years ago, Princess Luna broke under the strain of her loneliness. Embittered and emboldened, she traveled away from Canterlot to find the power she needed to challenge and defeat her sister in a battle for the throne.

This is a poetic retelling of the story of Nightmare Moon, heavily inspired by The Metamorphoses, "Horatius at the Bridge", and Paradise Lost. I hope you enjoy!

Over the past few centuries, one of the only constants in Princess Twilight Sparkle's life is her friendship with Discord. There is absolutely no way their relationship will ever change.

A crossover with Winsor McCay's Gertie the Dinosaur, considered by some wikipedia editors to be the first proper “character” brought to life by animation. McCay, a newspaper cartoonist, pioneered for the film several techniques that remain essential to animation today – including keyframes, registration marks, and animation loops. McCay's animations were variously successful, but as time went on he became increasingly disillusioned with the burgeoning industry, and in 1921 was forced by his editor to give up animation almost entirely. In 1934, he woke to discover his drawing hand completely paralysed, and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.

A short while ago, Dusk Shine and Sunburst finally got over their awkwardness and married. Starlight worked hard to make sure her best friends found love with each other. But now she's feeling empty.

It's not so comfortable being a fifth wheel.

Meanwhile, Dusk and Sunburst seem to barely notice, so caught up in the scientific and magical discovery they seem Tartarus-bent on making. They lock themselves in their lab for hours.

What could they possibly be working on? And what could be more important than their friend's growing discomfort?

She never bewitched a town into hatred over desiring her stuffed foaltoy--that was an alternative universe--YOUR Little Pony, not MY Little Pony. (j/k?).
