Rainbow Dash had exactly what she wanted, and all it took was one freak accident to take it away. In an instant, her life was changed and she lost everything she had worked for.

Now a half year has passed. Life is simply something that she goes through now, instead of something that she eagerly looks forward to each day. And her friend, Applejack, has been bothering her about some sort of surprise for a while now.

Rainbow Dash hates surprises.

Rainbow Dash keeps trying to convince Twilight why she should sleep with her, leading to many, many rejections. It’s a shame though, because Rainbow Dash won’t stop bothering her until she accepts.

Rainbow Dash knows one thing for sure, she is definitely not a barbarous, uncivilized dolt who doesn't know polite conversation from a hippopotamus's rear end. And also that she's definitely not the one who's wrong. Rarity is wrong. Rainbow Dash is absolutely, totally, a hundred percent sure of it.

But then why did Rainbow just buy a wagon load of apology bouquets?

Luna has spent the few months since her return waging a war against the nightmares that plague those who she protects. Upon reaching the dreams of one particularly little unicorn Luna has discovered the greatest deception she could imagine at the heart of the coming holidays.

Okay I had a lot of fun writing this. It will actually happily fit into two different contests. One on Nonpareil Fiction and one of Luna has the best Contests. So this will be fun, I haven't entered a contest since "A Mother's Love" Anyway on to the cover art shout out.

At last, Twilight has finished everything. The web is finally online.

But it seems some other ponies have gotten to her first. Somehow.

It's that time of year again. The leaves are turning, the air is cooling, and the chimneys are smoking.

But to a young Shining Armor, this can only mean one thing: pony flu season has arrived. And, thanks to his mother, this inevitably means a date with the dreaded needle.

Only this time, Shining isn't the only one who has to be worried. His filly sister is coming along for the ride for the first time... albeit, against her will.

And despite having fears of his own, Shining Armor knows that, for Twilight's sake... somepony has to be brave.
