While doing a little early Spring Cleaning (or possibly some very belated Spring Cleaning from last year), Octavia unearths part of Vinyl Scratch's comic book collection. But when she amuses herself during a break by reading one of the books, will she realize that some things are better left undisturbed? Will what she finds within reveal some of the puckish DJ's darkest secrets and tear to pieces the two musicians' nascent love?

Well, no. Not quite. Not at all, in fact... But it will give Octavia a pretty weird dream.

Author's Note: I came up with this silly idea when I saw that surge of "Octavia as small pony-octopus" pictures in November 2011. I hope you guys find the idea as amusing as I do. Oh, and I didn't tag this as a crossover or alternate universe because one, it's a dream and two, I would say it's more of a fusion...

When Sir Spike the Fireheart is framed by a fellow knight and branded a traitor to the Kingdom of Equestria for crimes he did not commit, he escapes persecution and makes a new life in the Everfree forest with a thief by the name of Pipsqueak. All the while, the seeds of vengeance slowly begin to bloom, and with the help of a strange cast of allies, he seeks to right the wrongs done unto his name. Cover Art belongs to: John Joseco. Something is definitively up around here. Applejack and Fluttershy have been spending a lot of time together without the rest of the gang. Well, Rainbow Dash is on to them! In fact, she is sure this is the no-good friend-stealing Applejack's doing, and she will not stand for this - whatever this is.

Also, Rainbow Dash wears a corn hat.

It's anything but a traditional story when Vinyl Scratch meets Octavia and falls in love with the colt-loving grey mare. Vinyl can't explain it, but there is something about Octavia that has sucked her into love's arms. But with Vinyl's jealous ex in the picture, she can barely find time to think straight. Can Vinyl find the will to fight through an overbearing ex and somehow win Octavia's heart? Or will it all crash and burn around her?

After reading a book by Spitfire's personal trainer, Rainbow Dash decides that the best way to get closer to her ultimate goal of joining the Wonderbolts is to add strength training to her practices by having one of her friends ride her. However, when she decides that Twilight Sparkle is just the mare for the job, the pegasus gets a bit more than she bargained for.
