The Equestria Games are about to begin! Ponies from all over Equestria have come together to compete, representing their hometowns in dozens of events. However, such a monumental event requires an immense amount of preparation and what better warm up for the contestants than to help prepare for their competition?

Both Braeburn and Soarin are competing for their cities, both of them arrived to the Crystal Empire a bit earlier than the other teams, and both have been roped into helping ponies that they know. As luck would have it, it also roped them a bit closer together.

When Soarin goes to visit Braeburn, plans go wrong. He finds Braeburn has been beaten, will this discovery about his freinds past lead to more than he had hoped? Will this friendship be put to the test and will all go well?

Lyra and Bon-Bon want to have children, but being mares, they cannot conceive one. However, a young filly without a home may well become the daughter of two loving mothers.

Lyra finds said filly one evening and offers her a stay at their place for the night, but caring for the filly brings maternal instincts to life

When Spike and Twilight get into a fight with one another and Spike storms out, the town goes on a search party looking for the baby dragon. After days and no sign of Spike, Rainbow returns with an injury that could only have been inflicted by none other than Spike.

Realizing the futility in Twilight or her friends reasoning with Spike, Sombra takes it upon himself to find out why Spike was so upset in the first place.

Sombra could never have been prepared for the answer Spike was going to give him.

Rainbow suffered a major accident. Will she recover?

On a normal day, Applejack goes to lend Rarity a hoof searching for gems but a terrible accident leaves her at deaths door. Joined by her family and three friends-Rainbow, Rarity and Spike-Applejack clings to her life. As her life gives out she tries to cherish the last words she'll ever hear again.

Pinkie Pie has been depressed for a long time. Her business has failed, she is out of pocket, about to lose her house and feels abandoned by her friends. In a moment of desperation, she tries to take her own life, only to be saved at the last minute by Rainbow Dash.

As Pinkie continues to battle with her depression and suicidal feelings, Twilight, Applejack and especially Rainbow Dash, must deal with the fallout of her suicide attempt.

This is a tale of sadness, pain and hope, one that focuses on the impact of our actions on others.

If you were to suddenly find yourself surrounded by zombies, what would you do? Run? Hide? Fight?...Die?
