For as long as anyone has known her, Scootaloo has been a normal, although rather energetic child. She lives with her adopted mother in National City and has known her best friends Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom since they were all in Middle School.

But Scootaloo has a secret that she's been keeping for years, that she's not of this earth, something she can't even tell her best friends about. As the three of them start college though, an accident happens that forces her to choose between telling her friends the truth or letting them die, and she chooses to tell them.

Now revealed to be the last daughter of a dead world, Scootaloo must defend her new home from threats from both within and without while trying to figure out what to do with her life.

Celestia called Twilight to the palace, to help her sister Luna who is lonely... Well that's what she wanted her to think.

Scootaloo keeps being reminded of what she can't do. Some days, it seems like nopony sees anything else. Apple Bloom however, reminds Scootaloo that there is at least one pony that sees her for what she is, and what she is capable of.

Poor Starburst is in need of power, the power to protect her family and friends, the power to defend her homeland, the power to instill fear in the hearts of her enemies!

Little did she know, that that very power would seek her out. But when she obtains it, how will it affect the rest of her life, her relationships with her parents, her little brother, and her friends? But more importantly, will she become the hero Equestria needs or become an even greater threat than anyone could've possibly imagined?

Character Bio: Starburst

Yeah, after looking at kilala97's stuff I finally caved and decided to try and write a story about her OC characters. Since Starburst's special talent is "intimidation", I thought: "Why the hell not, make that mare a Fear Lantern!" and so here we are.

For as long as she can remember, Scootaloo has lived in orphanages, not knowing the identities of her parents. She's happy enough in Ponyville, but deep down she still wishes she had a real mom and dad. So when she's given an assignment to write about her family, she starts looking for answers.

What she finds will shock her.

Sort of done as a response to a prompt by Phoenix Nebula.

Rainbow Dash grew up not knowing who her mother is.

One Mother's Day, Twilight Sparkle becomes determined to find out who Rainbow's mother is and drag her back to Ponyville to reunite with her daughter.

There's just one little hitch:

Rainbow Dash's mother is Daring Do. And she's inconveniently off "researching" her next book.

Now, Rainbow Dash has to go on a journey. A journey of self-discovery. A journey of a thousand unanswered questions.

A journey to find...her biomom.

Oh, and there's an ancient alicorn tomb and a closely guarded secret that'll change the history of Equestria forever, but that's just another day in the life of Daring Do.

(This story ignores certain details established by the Journal of the Two Sisters and the Daring Do chapter books.)

When Twilight Velvet suffers a heart attack and passes away, Twilight feels nothing but guilt at the thought of their last conversation, and the last thing she said to her mother, being the cause of it. Things only get more complicated when her father, Night Light, reveals to her and Shining Armor a secret that he and Velvet had been keeping from them about Twilight's own past. Twilight then visits her former mentor, Princess Celestia, to have her help in finding some answers. Meanwhile, it seems that Celestia is hiding something...

This is my first real attempt at an MLP fanfic, and of course, what better first fic than Momlestia? This is mainly based off of In the Sun's Shadow, a fic by Polaris501, Golden Secrets by Backlash91, and Grasping Happiness by NeonEclipse. Being my first fic, some constructive criticism would be nice, but please note that I might end up not making any major corrections.

Four years have passed by, four years that the Entities of the Emotional Spectrum have lived amongst the ponies of Equestria and have gotten used to mortal life, for the most part, and will soon be spending Hearth's Warming Eve with their respective families and friends.

However, this Hearth's Warming Eve night will be less than joyous. The darkness of the Blackest Night has made it's preparations and is now ready to turn this night of life and happiness, into one of death and tragedy. The Entities and the ponies whom they've sworn to protect will have to stand together if any of them want to see the dawn of Hearth's Warming Day!
