Luna has a secret.

A secret that she's kept close to her heart ever since her return from the moon, a secret she's hidden for so long that she's no longer even sure if it's real. At least until it returns to haunt her, and she has no choice but to confide in Celestia and hope her sister trusts that she hasn't gone mad.

It's time to tell Celestia about the circles.

Everyone in the Foundation knew 682. Most of them knew not to talk about him. Not to talk to him, more importantly, for fear of invoking his wrath. That creature made every single thing in the facility frightened, and they knew they couldn't do a thing about it. So what happens when he vanishes without a trace? Chaos. Absolute chaos. But this isn't about what happened there; this is about what happens to where he was transported. Which, coincidentally, is precisely the same thing.

Dedicated to everyone's favorite hard-to-kill reptile. You my boy, hamdoggz, for providing such an awesome rendition of it.

Commander Shepard remembers firing the crucible. She remembers she had to make an important choice. She remembers good friends, a lover, and plenty of loyal crewmen.

She just can't remember what her choice was. What the threat she was striving so hard to end was. Or what the faces of the most important people in her life look like.

She also has no idea how she wound up in the monster filled forest she's come to call home for the past eight months. Or how she picked up a snarky A.I. making its home in her omni-tool.

This story is a sequel to Damaged Goods

It's easy to believe in second chances. Twilight Sparkle has certainly witnessed and even offered several of them in her life, but never before has it been so personal. She's been hurt before, but never by ponies she loved so much.

Now, as feelings turn sour and love grows cold, Twilight must uncover the answer to a delicate question: what does it mean to forgive?

And how does it relate to Discord?

The fifth installment in Single Point. Credit to Meta Four for proofreading.

Sisters being peaceable with horrors unspeakable.

(A collection of surreal and creepy little comedies about the Princesses. Collab with Pearple Prose).

As this is an anthology series, it will update periodically. The stories are largely unrelated, but within the same continuity.

Some people say that Celestia and Luna are useless. That they lounge in the castle while delegating all their responsibilities to hard working, underappreciated, exceptionally well-read students. That even when faced directly with threats to kingdom and country, they fold like cheap origami and wait to be rescued.

These people are correct. But there's a very good reason for it!

[Rated Teen due to a dark scene early on to set some backstory, and occasional comedic death]

Princess Luna knows her sister is hiding something. Whatever she may say, 'Daybreaker' did not seem to be some construct of Starlight Glimmer's psyche. It had been far too strong for that.

But Luna will learn that sometimes it is better to leave well enough alone. The truth is not always kind.

My entry for the Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord contest, in which this won second place. The Seattle's Angels Review can be found here.

Thanks to Snu AKA Snowybee, Miller Minus and MewKat for lending their ears, and their pre-reading skills (for Chapters 1-3). I definitely would not have finished this in time without them.

If I had to sum this story up: what if you could interview the devil, and he told you that there were Bigger Fish to Fry?

- Cynewulf, on reviewing this for Seattle's Angels.

A long time ago, two sisters ruled over the land: one held dominion over the day, and the other commanded the night. They quarreled, and to solve their dispute, they did something petty. They split the planet in half. They stopped the rotation of the planet—tidally locked it—so that one side would always be night, and the other always day.

Rarity is a member of the Corona Empire's parliament, sworn to do what is best for her country. One day, Queen Celestia summons her for a private talk. She asks Rarity to do something unthinkable, unfathomable, unheard of: deliver a message to the leader of the Nightscape, Queen Luna.

One night, just like that, Celestia realizes she's going to die in less than twenty-four hours.

It took many long years and far more defeats than he'd care to admit, but at last—at long last—victory was finally within the great Ahuizotl's reach. Absolutely nothing, not even that meddlesome Daring Do, would be able to stand in his way any longer. Yet even with his arch nemesis facing her inevitable demise and the ultimate power literally in his grasp, he can't shake the feeling that he's forgotten about something.

One tiny, crucial detail. Something very important. As in, 'could easily ruin his plans if not attended to' important.

...

Eh, maybe he just left the oven on again.
