It's a few weeks before summer, and Ponyville is at it's calmest. That is, until Big Macintosh and Rainbow Dash announce that they are dating. No big deal though, it's just some mildly shocking news. How will their friends and family react? How will the whole town react? One thing's for certain, nothing bad will come of this at all, in any shape or form. That is guaranteed.

Twilight Sparkle has every intention of crawling in to her freshly cleaned bed sheets.

So why is it so hard to get there?

Twilight always thought that being able to send the Princess her letters instantaneously through Spike's fire breath was the best thing in the world. Instant correspondence with her mentor and secret crush could never be a bad thing, right? Unfortunately, Twilight has a habit of writing her secrets down on flammable materials. Now her secret's out, so what's a panicky unicorn to do? Panic, obviously!

Most changelings only want to feed on love and serve their queen, defending her with their lives. But Scales the changeling has never seen eye-to-eye with the others. All he wanted to do was cook. He leaves the hive and finds himself in Ponyville as a baker. He finds peace, but will that peace stay?

Applejack and Big Macintosh both have dates for the evening, but Apple Bloom isn't about to let them out of the house until her curiosity is satisfied. . .

He had always fancied himself a loner, an animal that had only just begun to settle down within the snug confines of ownership. Still, such a lavish life is far more favorable than to be kept under The Yellow Mistress' ever-reaching wing. Of course, helping out The Purple Mistress is never all fun and games.
