The weird tale of 2 brothers and their search for a new home. They come across the quiet town of Ponyville, not knowing what to expect, but to make the most out of what happens.

There comes a time in our lives when we just have to let go. I suppose I'm just not that kind of person. Thoughts of her constantly play out through my head. It's a special day, I should do my best to honor her.
Slowly I reach down to pick up a pen a paper. Without thought. I begin to write.

When dark creatures begin appearing in Equestria, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna summon the bearers of the Elements of Harmony to Canterlot. Before the six ponies can arrive, though, four strange ponies are expelled from a portal that appears in the throne room, and they explain that Equestria is not the only place at risk from these creatures. Thus begins an adventure that will reveal a greater destiny for Ponyville's librarian than she could have ever dreamed of.

A week after Rainbow Dash has been brought back to Equestria, her friends start to notice the strange headache's she has been having, which have recently been causing her to faint. A plan is devised to help their friend, but when Rainbow Dash's memories start to clash with those of the human world, Twilight and her friends could be in far more trouble then they had bargained for.

Conjuration is a lost art in Equestria. Celestia is bored, and decides to learn some summoning spells. She summons an otherworldy creature, but will it be anything like what she expects? Nightshade, (OC, originally Davis) has a rather unique power, one that many with less than selfless intentions will give anything to get a hold of. He is on the run, and just when he appears to be caught, he finds himself in a new world entirely. Called a monster by his fellow humans, how will he fare in a world where ALL humans are considered as such? And can he stop the darkness within himself? An HiE story, no the main character will not be ponified, because then it would lose the whole point. Also my first fanfic, so commentary is appreciated. Mild Swearing, Gratuitous Violence, Rated T for Teen. I do not own any of the characters, except Davis because I made him up, and I really don't care if you use him in your fic or not just s long as you make sure to direct back here so everypony knows where he came from. Twilight has discovered a strange old book purportedly written by Star Swirl the Bearded, and Rainbow Dash discovers a latent spell in it that transports the two ponies to a strange island in the middle of nowhere. With no viable options available to them, Twilight and Rainbow begin to search the island for clues to a way home and the reason behind the odd puzzles and contraptions presented to them.
