Major AU! What if it was not just Sabo, Luffy and Ace kicking it at the Dawn islands? What if a Twilight Sparkle was among them from the beginning? And what if a certain RAINBOOM happened the day of the Grey Terminal fire?

SPOILER! There will be elements of harmony, but it WON'T be Twilight and her friends...you'll never guess who!

Based on the lazy Hasbro recolour of Twilight Sparkle. One dark and stormy night, Twilight Sparkle is visited by a strange pony. But this pony knows a lot about Twilight Sparkle; in fact, she might just be Twilight's number one fan. And that couldn't be a bad thing, right?

The year is 3053, the galaxy has been divided into 5 great houses in what is known as the Inner Sphere. These houses have been locked in an eternal struggle for dominance for thousands of years. All of that changed in the year 3050, when invaders from outside of known space began a push towards Terra from Galactic North.

However, in the southern regions of the galaxy, a small Periphery nation known as the Magistracy of Canopus, who's interests are far from galactic conquest, is under attack by the forces of House Liao. Leading their defense is a woman known to those outside of her close circle of friends as "Phoenix." who appeared in the middle of a battle some five years prior.

Titans of Steel and Honor is a MLP/Battletech crossover that's been on my mind for some time.

It has been eight long years; the world stands, but in ruins. The Elements of Harmony were powerless to stop them, magic is powerless to stop them. The only line of defense remaining, are the Jaegers; great war mechs designed by the greatest equine minds alive. The greatest of these, is Twilight Sparkle. Helping her save the world, one slain Kaiju at a time, are her friends; and races from around the world.

Author's Notes. This is a crossover story including Pacific Rim and MLP. This is not a retelling, nor are there humans. The concept is preserved, however, there are new exciting twists, as well as an original cast. Twilight and the other characters you know and love will not be filling the roles of characters from the movies. This is an original re-imagining and will tell a different, unique story.

Please Enjoy.

Discord is bored.
Side effect of being trapped in stone.
But, that does not mean he's powerless. Quite the contrary.
He often wanders around the universe, if only as a spectator.
Throughout his wanderings, he finds a war-embroiled world, where the Vasari and Ortalians clash for control of Liguria.

Of course, Discord cares not for the conflict. Like a curious magpie, he 'borrows' one of the Ortalian mechs and brings it to Equestria just because.
An accident of sorts occurs when he causes damage to the mech's delicate mainframe, rendering it stupid, to put it simply.
Now, a barely coherent machine of destruction is wandering about on Equestria, fully loaded for war...

Some of you may ask whether or not the Executioner brings about extensive collateral damage to Equestria.

But the real question is whether it can discover the magic of friendship.

Playback Audio Feed......Operation: World Jump 2463197......Subsection; Mission Parameters......

.........Um, hello, my name is Doctor Daniel Phillips, and I am the lead scientist overseeing the Gateway Project, one of the most cutting-edge technologies in existence today. With it, we can open wormholes to worlds far beyond the reach of conventional space travel, and even into other dimensions if we can work out the right frequency. As of late we have discovered over a dozen habitable worlds that have been slated for colonization, but as of yet no signs of intelligent life. Yet I hold out hope that one day we might find such a world, however remote, and put our best foot forward in opening relations with our new galactic neighbors. Yet not all of the planets we find are poppies and roses, so instead of sending in humans to explore them, we have these little babies.

Oh, right, you can't see me because this is an audio-only feed. My mistake. Well, I guess I'll just have to explain it to you. These cybernetic wolves, known in our group as the Mech Hounds, are outfitted with the most advanced computers in the world, along with some of the most cutting-edge robotics and weapons money can buy. Now right at the moment we only have a dozen of these little critters, but don't let that fool you. Each of these little babies carries enough firepower to level a small town, although it would take them a couple days to do so if they were working alone. They also have the programing to work out almost any situation in a matter of seconds, although they still have many of the logic problems that most computers face when confronted with something that does not fit within the established parameters of their programming. Yet, regardless of their possible shortcomings, they do the heavy lifting upon initial exploration where humans cannot, dealing with threats as they see fit in order to assess the habitability of a planet for human use. I could tell you more, but that would be breaking protocol.

So, without further ado, I'll turn you over to our logistics specialist, who will be happy to tell you all about how these little babies are going to change the world, or rather, worlds, that humanity has come to call home.................

End Audio Recording........

This is a story that delves into the boundary between life and machine, where AI is something that has only been dreamed of, even with the most advanced computers available. Then again, these machines have never encountered magic before, so who knows what might happen. I guess you'll just have to read the book to find out for yourself.

“ This mysterious mech produces different powers depending on its pilot. Kirby's Copy Ability power has transformed it into a shape-shifting copy robot!”
— Kirby: Planet Robobot —

{SPOILERS TO KIRBY: PLANET ROBOBOT!!!}

Haltmann Works Company. An Intergalactic Corporation that wished to reactivate [Star Dream] and achieve infinite prosperity through a plot called the Mechanizing Occupation Project. They produced a vast number of Invader Armors to help them achieve their goal. Possibly hundreds, if not thousands of these were built to harvest planets to obtain their resources and technology.

Yet this is the story of one: [Unit Model# I-7090]. One mech that would have remained unremarkable were it not for the change in status quo that occurred when he encountered the inhabitant of Popstar named Kirby. From there he became so much more:

The one who made a friend in a little pink life form.
The one who went against his programing to assist him in his adventure to save his planet.
The one who helped him to face a menagerie of menaces and puzzles to reach his goal.
And the one who after the final battle, said goodbye in the only way he could.

Perhaps he was willing to stay adrift in space until time itself ended, but what if he ended up on another planet, where the ultimate source of prosperity was a magical resource called friendship?

Okay guys full disclosure. I had no intention of writing this because its connection to the original show is tenuous at best, and it's fucking Looooooong. But then I read the comic Rogue Diamond by TheFlimFlamBros and Pia-chan on e621 and. . . AND I FUCKING LOVE THIS COMIC. Seriously big shout out to them. Go read that fucking comic. But anyway, if I can adore that comic, which is so absolutely divorced from its subject matter, then I can write this. So thanks to them for giving me the artistic courage to take this much artistic license.
